To get the best mileage is it better to: 1. Fill tank when it reaches half full mark. (Less fumes) or 2. Fill the tank only half full for less weight? But more fumes.

I am thinking of disconnecting 4 pistons in my 350 Chevy. Will this improve gas mileage? I only use this vehicle for short trips around town so losing 1/2 the horsepower will not bother me. Any thoughts??

I was installing new Oxygen sensors earlier today. I got interrupted and installed them with the protective plastic caps still on,duh. I didn't even realize my mistake

yep, im restoring a Ford F-100 been sitting for about 5 years and th first thing i was planing on doing was changing out the fluids. So was wondering if i needed to change out EVERY fluid? would th transmition fluid be ok? break fluid? power stearing fluid?

I finally got my mitts on my van to see what is up with the erratic shifting/transmission issue the girlfriend was talking about. It is rather hard to describe, but here is an attempt. All the indicator lights (PRN3DL) come on when it is started.

I am looking alignment shop recommendation in Bay area for a 91 Camry (front wheel drive). I am aware of Custom Alignment. I just don't think $200 for alignment is worth the expense when 4 tires cost me $250. Please suggest shops within a radius of 20 miles from San Jose, Ca.

My 96 s10 i think is dieing and i am looking for replacement engines. a 1995/1997 2.2 of some variety seems to be the likly candidate. It has to be port injected which rules out older 2.2.'s It will be much easier to find a front drive core.

I noticed a smell of gas under my 1985 S10 Blazer hood on the right side after a fill up, but I don't see any leaks........ is it possible that this smell is coming from some vent like a gas vent emmision thingy?
