Recently purchased a spare transmission pan for my
Year 2006, 3.3L Dodge Caravan. Inside the transmission
pan there is a magnet, the new pan came without the magnet.

I was in the process of recharging the A/C on my everyday vehicles
(all GM products) and decided to do my '96 F250. Trouble is I don't
know where the low pressure side is. Is it the hose closest to the
radiator or is it near the can near  the firewall? My recharge fitting

dressings to a multi-vee belt? Does it get rid of a squeal? What is the

I have a 2004 Honda Civic and would like to change the ATF fluid.
The owners manual lists Honda ATF Z1, so I guess I need to go to the dealer?
I was at Walmart today and I saw Mercon V
ATF and on the bottle it mentioned that it meets Honda Z1

Subject says it.  1994 Honda Accord.  Changed oil and had a small drip from
the drain plug after reinstalling.  Tried a copper gasket from my collection
and still leaks.  Went to Napa and paid $ 0.99 for another copper gasket
(they did not have the soft aluminum gasket in stock) ...

  I installed a brand new Duralast waterpump from AutoZone 40,000
miles ago, in my 85 Chevy Caprice. Already the bearings are worn. I
can move the fan around quite a lot, and also the pump is noisy.

OK..I removed all the spark plugs and the engine began cranking
steadily..Coolant sprayed out of the spark plug hole near the firewall
and on the passenger side....Anyway..Put the plugs back in and now the

I've heard over the years that it is not a good idea to crank an
engine with the plug wires removed because damage will result.
Is this true?  If so, what could be the result.

I have a 67 Chevy with a 327 sb. I put an electronic distributer and a
new carb on a couple of years ago and never got around to setting it
just right. I just start it every few months and drive it around town
to keep it running. It will start up fine when cold but after it warms

As previously mentioned, I'm new to the Seattle area.  Normally I
would ask friends for references for repair shops, but since I don't
know anyone I really can't do that.
