Steering Wheel Vibration 45 mph. Caprice.31 Oct 2008 20:51 GMT1
I'm noticing a fine vibration in the steering  wheel at 45 mph for
the last few weeks. It doesn't always happen, but does about 90
percent of the time.  The front tires are only about 3 months old, and
have about 5,000 miles on them.
1998 Ford Taurs blower motor update31 Oct 2008 16:50 GMT5
My brother in law has no heat because the blower motor is not coming
on. The blower motor, resister, and relay have been replaced. Both
fuses have been checked. There is no power to the blower motor. If
both fuses are in ok shape, how can I figure out why there is no power
Taurus ignition switch actuator broken yet again31 Oct 2008 15:37 GMT1
For the third time the nylon "actuator" for the ignition switch is
broken in my '95 Taurus. It's a major PITA to dig in to the steering
column's tilt-wheel machinery to replace this fragile, poorly-designed
part. So here's my proposed repair and a question.
Starter broke?30 Oct 2008 23:36 GMT5
My niece has a Ford Escape 1996.  I was with her today.  When she
tried to start the car it made a noise.  She turned the switch off and
then tried again and it started.  This also happened once before when
I was with her.  I will ask her how often this happens, but I am
Bridgestone/Firestone Tire Recall ?30 Oct 2008 20:34 GMT2
Read about the big Bridgestone/Firestone tire recall.
Ordered a new Buick LaCrosse, due in a few weeks, and am concerned that it
might come with these bad tires.
Tried to find a list of tire S/N's of the defective ones on the web, but

central locking lights sticking on28 Oct 2008 03:53 GMT3
I have a Daewoo Tacuma and the central locking lights are staying on. The
sidelights that flash as you turn remotely lock/unlock it. sometimes it can
take 10 minutes of clicking to get the damn things off. Any ideas as to what
it is?
Trying to isolate engine/transmission noise28 Oct 2008 03:27 GMT6
Hey all,
I'm hoping someone can assist me with a recent problem.  I have a 2004
Scion xB 5-spd manual with 150k miles on it.  Recently I have noticed
a whine when driving.  Usually the whine manifests itself when I'm
Which Aftermarket Catalytic Converter To Buy for Lexus es300?27 Oct 2008 19:31 GMT29
I have a 97 Lexus ES300 with 114K miles on it. I have a CEL with P0420
code, catalyst efficiency below threshold. I have replaced the cat
twice with aftermarket ones. In both cases, the CEL came back after a
couple of months with the same code. So looks like the previous ones
TH400 wont shift to drive27 Oct 2008 17:35 GMT7
Some details: 69 chevy c20 with a 350 sbc and a th400.  Neither the
motor nor the transmission are original.
Problem: when starting the truck everything shifts fine from 1st to
drive.  Say I drive a few miles to home depot. If I spend about 30
P0340 code on Ford 2.0L DOHC27 Oct 2008 03:30 GMT6
Getting a P0340 (Camshaft Position Sensor signal) code on a 1999 Ford Escort
ZX2 (2.0L DOHC).
The sensor was cheap so that's the first thing I changed out - no change.
Did all the point-to-point resistance tests in the Ford procedures - all
Noises while driving but stops when breaking26 Oct 2008 22:00 GMT17
I have a 95 Mercury Villager that just recently started making a weird
noise that is higher pitched and seems like it's coming from the wheel
well.  It stops making the noise, however, when I break.  I would
almost describe the noise as sounding like chains jingling, kind of.
Outside the box Jeep electrical question24 Oct 2008 15:53 GMT4
OK. I'll try to keep this short. For almost 2 years now my 1994
Cherokee 4.0 automatic has had this unfixable problem involving the
throttle position sensor. Basically the Jeep drive just fine and
smoothly but once you drive 10-15 minutes in the city or drive the
'97 Ford T-Bird, Fuel Pump Problem24 Oct 2008 03:12 GMT2
My parents are having an issue with their fuel system v6, 3.8. Car
will crank, but wont start. The pump is brand new. No fuel getting to/
through fuel filter. Dont believe pump is kicking on. My first thought
was the Fuel Pump Fuse (Good), Inertia Switch (Good), and I cannot
Questions regarding function of vehicle rubber body mounts23 Oct 2008 19:52 GMT5
I have some questions regarding  the functioning of vehicle rubber
body mounts in general, & specifically,  rear cab mount bushings for
Chevy K1500 series pickups having conventional two door cabs.
