Oil change prices soar up.31 May 2009 14:39 GMT11
Recently I was in a Wal Mart.  Last year there basic oil change was
about $18.95.  Now Wal Mart charges $30.00 for the same basic oil
change.   Why such a huge and sudden increase?
They are now as expensive as the premium oil change chains.  (Jiffy Lube

I'm trying to locate the connector for the heated oxygen sensor on my 2000
Pontiac Sunfire with 2.4L engine. This is the oxygen sensor located after

the engine compartment but doesn't show the actual ...

Does emissions equipment hurt gas mileage?28 May 2009 22:42 GMT19
My father in law and I have an ongoing argument about whether or not
modern emissions equipment helps or hurts gas mileage. He contends
that if engines were able to run without all of the emission controls
we would see an increase in gas mileage. I say that the emissions

Wipers take 2 minutes to start. 88 Trans Am27 May 2009 18:28 GMT1
The wipers on my 88 Pontiac Trans Am do work pretty well, once
they start.  But they take 2 or 3 minutes to get going.   Once they
are working they still have a few quirks, but are usable.  My setup
has wash,  delay,  low,  and high.
Electric power steering27 May 2009 17:56 GMT7
I understand electric power steering is coming (actually, I have it on
my Prius), because it is supposed to be more energy efficient. Is a
generator that much more efficient than a hydraulic pump, or is it that
there is energy going into turning the belt and pump even when not
