Removing Resonator from Exhaust 96 Sentra30 Sep 2009 00:40 GMT13
Is it common, or even doable, to delete the resonator from the
exhaust, on a 96 Nissan Sentra ?   My gf's Sentra has an exhaust leak
at the connection between the pipe and the resonator (not the
muffler).   I can't tell if the resonator is rotted away there too,

Bumper Question26 Sep 2009 01:03 GMT9
There is a rubber strip (about an inch wide) that was attached to the
bottom of the front bumper (full width) on my 2007 Odyssey. It was
rubbed off by a tall parking lot cement curb. What is it called? What
is its purpose? It doesn't seem to me that only one tiny inch would
buying tires online?26 Sep 2009 01:01 GMT3
thanks for all the informative responses to my previous post on buying cheap
Chinese tires. I don't really want to be buying tires again in another few
years because Chinese ones wore out, so I'll get a better brand.
Is it a good idea to buy tires online? By the time that I pay a ...

My 1978 Dodge van and my 1983 Dodge van have verticle slots (ventilation
slots?) in the cowl panels above the engine hoods. What is the purpose of
those slots? other than letting a lot of leaves fall down and get under
there.

what about Chinese tires?21 Sep 2009 18:11 GMT21
when will prices rise as a result of the tariff? or have they risen in advance
already?
is it worth it looking around for low end tires from countries other than

Old one cylinder oiless tankless air compresser.18 Sep 2009 23:51 GMT15
This morning I was using it to air up a tire. The usual sound of it was

Question about GM Heater Hose fitting17 Sep 2009 03:26 GMT10
Recently one or both of my heater hoses started leaking.  In
attempting to replace them, I noticed some strange fittings at the
ends of the metal tubes the hoses connect to.  When removing the
spring clamp, the tip of one of them actually cracked off and broke.

I have an '04 Nissan Frontier that was hit head-on and the driver's air bag
deployed.  I repaired/replaced everything that was damaged except the air
bag (so far, still working on it).  The driver's seat belt is stuck in place
and will not pull out or retract.  Does this have ...

This is a 1988 Corolla FX (not an FX16 :( ) with 188,000 miles on it.
When shifting through the gears, if the lever is in 1st, 3rd or 5th,
stepping on the gas makes the lever move about 1/2-3/4" in one direction,
and letting off the gas moves the lever back the same amount.
