| Pop up almost completed | 27 Aug 2004 12:26 GMT | 13 |
Well all, my restoration of our 82 Coleman Colonial is almost complete. Everything has been restored back to new condition with the exception of the canvas which is not that bad considering it's age. The thing has NO leaks and a few holes have been patched. Today, I finished ...

| Dutch Star Steering | 27 Aug 2004 00:21 GMT | 2 |
We are considering buying a 1999 34' Dutch Star gas RV and we are very concerned about how well the coach handles on the road at highway speeds. Because of its short wheel base, the RV Consumers Group gives the unit a low grade. But, we see an awful lot of Dutch Stars

| Shower drain on a 02 popup. | 26 Aug 2004 15:29 GMT | 2 |
I have an 02 Viking legend that had the "u" shaped shower trap made of pcv pipe that was damaged due to a freeze up of the water inside trap. Apparently the people that owned the popup before me didn't put enough antifreeze into the trap.

| Another towing question | 25 Aug 2004 15:34 GMT | 7 |
I tow with a Ford F-150 with a 5 speed straight shift. Truck handles the pop up with out any problem. Trouble is I have a boat too, and no matter how carefully I try to use the clutch, it breaks traction at the boat ramps and I can hardly get the boat in and out. I previously had ...

Hi, all. I have a 2001 Coleman Santa Fe CP, and I am trying to maximize my ability to dry camp. On our last trip we used rechargeable Coleman fluorescent lights, and saved the battery use for the water pump. We didn't run out of power on

| Avoid filling water heater | 24 Aug 2004 05:21 GMT | 3 |
I'd like to avoid filling my water heater. I'm told I might need a by pass hose. I have a '99 Jayco Cascade Heritage with the deluxe water system. Essentially, I'd like to maximize my fresh water usage. If I understand the water system correctly every time I turn the pump on it

| Buying question | 23 Aug 2004 23:22 GMT | 6 |
Looking into buying a used pop up for weekend use. What should I look and not look for besides the obvious like dry rot, mechanical, etc.? I don't need showers or anything like that yet. Most good campsites have that already available. Even if they don't, I could still "rough it" ...
