RV & outdoor shows15 Aug 2004 01:14 GMT6
When the RV & outdoor shows happen? January? April?
When I lived in the Seattle area the boat shows were early March.  And
I want something to look forward to besides the garden and seed
catalogs.
Greetings from new pop-up owner15 Aug 2004 01:11 GMT5
Hi Y'all!
I thought I would take a moment and introduce myself.  My name is Nydia and I
am the proud new co-owner of a very lightly used 2003 Coleman/Fleetwood Bayside
Tent Trailer.  My best friend and her husband are my partners in this
Bad Fridge14 Aug 2004 20:49 GMT4
Got that ammonia smell so I know it is bad.  Cost is too high to replace
right now.  Short term ..could I take the "guts" from a small 110 volt
fridge and connect it into the rv fridge?  Seems pretty simple to do.
Thanks

Water heater problem14 Aug 2004 16:39 GMT1
My Suburban water heater, auto lighting, also 120v a/c, seems to work fine
at sea level and up to the 3000 foot level.    Last week we were camping in
June Lake, CA, at an elevation of about 7000' and the water heater just
absolutely refused to light itself.   Had to go out there ...
Generator for Coleman Popup w/ A/C?14 Aug 2004 14:25 GMT3
I have a small, 1993 Coleman Pioneer series popup with a Mach A/C.  The
manual does not have any specs for the A/C.    I'm wondering if anyone can
recommend a portable generator that would power the A/C when we're not in a
campground.
Coleman Roof Prob:What year??13 Aug 2004 13:34 GMT4
Does anyone know the year that the ABS roof was first used? I've heard
that it was 96 or 97. Can anyone confirm? I'm interested in buying a
93 Chesapeake but would like to save myself a long drive over to see
it if the roof could be one of the problem ones.Thanks.
Hadley's Point/Acadia13 Aug 2004 05:34 GMT2
Anyone been to Bar Harbor, ME lately?  I recently read that pollution on the
beach is severe and am concerned that I will be spending a week adjacent to
a sewer.  I'm thinking of canceling my reservations.
We have reservations at Hadley's Point which is near where route 3 enters
Portable gas grill13 Aug 2004 03:09 GMT20
Can anyone recommend a good portable gas grill/stove?  One that will
last more than a couple of years.

GREAT RV REALLY CHEAP ?????13 Aug 2004 01:41 GMT5
If you are checking out E-Bay and come across a deal that is just too good
to be true (2002 Monaco Dynasty for a Buy It Now price of say $36,000, do
you really want to bid on this one ???  Usually the so-called seller has
hi-jacked the name of a very reputable seller/buyer and at ...
Just got a 2005 Jayco--Problems12 Aug 2004 15:33 GMT3
I'm new to this forum and to popup camping.  I've been camping with
friends in a popup before, and my wife and I decided to buy a new
popup so we can start camping with our 7yr. old son and 2 yr. old
daughter.  I did my homework and talked to a lot of people who owned

Door "latch" problems?12 Aug 2004 15:19 GMT3
I have a 2002 Palomino popup and I am having problems with the nylon cam locks
(?) that hold my door, onto the roof when the trailer is closed and, against
the roof when the roof is raised. The screws that hold the nylon twist locks
secure are stripping out of the roof. Has anyone ...
Just lifted the pop up12 Aug 2004 15:14 GMT7
I just got finished lifting the pop up to give us more ground clearance. It
was an easy fix and gave me about 4 inches more clearance. Now we should be
able to drag the p-up through the trails without bottoming out.

Coleman Stepper Door damage/replacement?12 Aug 2004 12:56 GMT2
On our last outing ('00 Coleman Westlake), I stupidly forgot to lock the
door handle on the stepper door...it was closed, but I didn't push it in to
lock it.  The door flew open on a bounce in the road, and got damaged/bent,
to the point where I could barely raise it up enough to ...
