Trail Manor opinions?06 Aug 2004 02:31 GMT2
My wife and I want to get our first RV. After about a year of looking at
various models, and researching, we have nearrowed it down to a Trail Manor,
specifically, the model 2720SL
Can't find too much user info on this.  Any opinions/feedback would be welcome.
WTB: Class III hitch06 Aug 2004 00:11 GMT4
I have a 2000 Pontiac Montana. I need to get a Class III hitch for it, the
wiring harness and a transmission cooler.  Does anyone know of any really
good sites to get one with cheap prices?  The parts stores seem pretty high
around here.

AZ? We're heading up next week for a 5 day stay.
Thanks in advance
question about a 4runner04 Aug 2004 04:04 GMT4
We are about to buy a 4runner (V8). It already has a hitch receiver and the
plug thingy. Will I have to get a new break controller installed? or is that
integrated? You might well be asking me why I don't ask the dealer or check
the website! The dealers give me blank looks. The ...
Poll- battery replacement04 Aug 2004 01:51 GMT16
If you were going to replace 2 12 volt house batteries, and didn't
want to put in the gel type, what brand and amp-hour rating ,
preferrably of sealed batteries,  do you use or prefer?  If the best
is water-added, then which?
Attaching Propane Tanks to the Hitch03 Aug 2004 22:44 GMT8
I have a propane tank on my hitch.  It's attached with bent threaded rods,
washers, and butterfly nuts.  There is a spot for a second tank, and I can
buy that tank, but I can't find those bent rods that hold it in place.
What the heck are these things called and where can I buy ...
LED lights03 Aug 2004 22:10 GMT1
I am interested in replacing the 12 volt incandescent bulbs in my camper
with LEDs. I understand these use about 1/10 the current as do the
incandescent. When camping lights are the biggest draw on my batteries as we
are often up late playing board games and cards. The inside lights ...

DESTROYED AWNING03 Aug 2004 15:19 GMT2
Big mistake, come home from two week trip, quick set up to clean and dry and
I leave the awning up almost completely flat.  Come home today from work
during heavy rain and weight of the water has pulled it down completely
separating the storage bag from the rail mount at the seam ...

Lift system repair02 Aug 2004 03:36 GMT3
Hey Group,
I have a 2003 Coleman Cheyenne pop-up that the lift system failed this
weekend. Lifting works, but will not hold the roof in the open position. If
the crank is let go, the roof will fall to the closed position. Are there
Newbie - What to Look for When Buying Used PU01 Aug 2004 22:22 GMT9
Just wanting to get into the RV market for me, my wife, and 2 girls (6
and 4), and since we're using a Jeep Grand Cherokee, we figured a pop
up might be a better place to start until we get a bigger longer wheel
based truck or something to step up to a bigger TT.
