We (NAM) have been getting complaints recently that Thousand Trails and the
people who operate them are now aggressively pushing a new "Come in and get

Memberships?13 Sep 2004 16:26 GMT6
What RV club memberships do you folks have?  There are quite a few and I am
thnking about joining one of them but not all of them.  Wondering if one was
better than others -- or if that was simply an "in the eyes of the
be(card)holder" thing.
Montana 5ver13 Sep 2004 15:22 GMT8
The wife and I are looking seriously at the 2005 model Montana 2980RL. The
floor plan and amenities look like the right match for us. We plan on having
a generator installed on what ever 5ver we get.
This will be our first 5th wheel. (We got a small TT a year ago and
Cell phones to vets13 Sep 2004 04:41 GMT5
OK, I know this is a completely unrelated question, but you have

ones laying around the house and saw progam in which a couple of kids
were collecting them for the Vets overseas.  Can anyone help me?

I just purchased a Coleman Hot Water On Demand heater from Ebay.  Just
wondering if any of you have one and what do you like or dislike about it?  I
know I should've asked this before the purchase but hindsight is 20/20.  I
think I got a pretty good deal.  Heater, carry case, city ...

TV reception - options?11 Sep 2004 20:00 GMT62
We have a 36' Southwind with TV's fore and aft.  It has the standard roof
antenna, and cable hookups for when we are at an RV park.
In the near future, we expect to be splitting our time between WA and AZ.
The timing here is amusing, as we have grown tired of our local,

All,
I just drained my potable water supply, my hot water tank and opened the
drain valves on the pressurized water system of my Jayco popup.  As far as I
can tell, there may be a little water left in the system, but it appears to
What is the stupidest thing....10 Sep 2004 23:31 GMT59
...that you have ever done in, on, around, to your pop-up?
I am not looking to mock anyone, just trying to learn from some things that
others may have done.  Plus, it might be a little amusing to hear your stories.
I promise that I will dutifully post all of my stupif things.  I ...
Insulating Bunk Ends, Lighting Questions10 Sep 2004 13:34 GMT3

ends and down the sides. Also, had new 6000 BTU AC going. But nothing
