palomino upgrade12 Oct 2004 13:00 GMT1
A few years ago, we bought a 8 foot 92 Palomino Colt.  We have decided to
upgrade it to a newer model and were wondering if there was a specific
time of year when they have a sale on the previous years models.
Thx
RV TV system wanted12 Oct 2004 03:16 GMT22
I am confused.  We want to get a satellite dish system for our RV.
We want it to have a dome antenna so we don't have to go outside and set it
up or adjust it.  We don't want one to watch TV as we drive, as I like to
pay attention to other cars, ditches, light poles, cliffs, and ...
Alaska (again) and Yukon Terr.11 Oct 2004 15:01 GMT11
I'm thinking on the next summer trip with the Grandgirls, I'd like
to go to Dawson City and then onward to Seward.  I see by the map
there's a road from YT Hiway 9 down to Alaska State Hiway 2 then to
State Hiway 1.  It's Alaska State Hiway 5 and is marked, the "Taylor
Cross Country & Grand Canyon11 Oct 2004 04:36 GMT2
I'll retire in less than two years, and plan to then take the cross country
trip I've wanted for so long, including the Grand Canyon, and on to
California forests.  We're in upstate NY, and have made trips fine to
Kansas City, North Carolina, etc.  But, I'm wondering if our ...
When to buy insurance and companies for ins11 Oct 2004 03:25 GMT14
Is it possible to get insurance coverage from the moment you buy?
Are you better off buying from a company that insures RVs even for a
pop-up camper?
Thanks.

Some of you who have traveled to Skagway in the last couple of years,
maybe you can give me an idea how long it will take me to go from
the Canadian border just above Seattle to Skagway?  I don't break
speed limits, usually a very conservative driver, especially with

New Decals - make a new rig09 Oct 2004 21:04 GMT2
We've had a 1993 Itasca diesel for a little over a year and love it.  It's
exactly what we need and very nice inside.  But we HATED the pink and
turquoise striping on the exterior.
We recently found a vinyl lettering and sign shop that would redo all the

1975 Rockwood Model RW1203 - Help08 Oct 2004 19:27 GMT7
My wife and I just purchased a 1975 Rockwood popup in need of some minor
repairs (rotten wood, caulking exterior) and maintenance (ball bearings,
gas line leaks, inspection of crank mechanism).  I'm more of the person
who prefers to pickup a Chilton manual to work on a car than ...
Ford E350 question.08 Oct 2004 01:34 GMT4
I have a 1994 Ford E350 460EFI  (G) with a bad fuel pump. The tank is behind
the rear axel. There is no way to replace the fuel pump without dropping the
tank as far as I can tell. It's a Motor Home so getting to it from the top by
cutting a hole in the floor is out of the question ...
generators07 Oct 2004 20:24 GMT9
I've been thinking about getting a generator to use when camping and to use
if the power goes out at home (I'm in hurricane weary Florida). I've heard
great things about the Honda generators - quiet, efficient, etc. Does
anyone have any experience with the Yamaha generators? On ...
