RV Consumer Group (www.rv.org)30 Jan 2005 23:19 GMT21
Soliciting feedback on their RV ratings.
I purchased their CD, which at $75, I expect to be accurate and
complete. There are no indications that it is not, however, being new
in the RV buying bidness, I'd like to know a little more about it
Class A with retractable "Cab over Bed"30 Jan 2005 16:09 GMT4
Has anyone ever heard of a Class A that has a retractable bed over the
driver's head in place of an entertainment center?  There is sufficient
space there to have a queen bed suspended from the ceiling.  Normally stored
flat against the ceiling, this bed could be pulled down (to ...
Motorhome Deodorizer30 Jan 2005 06:25 GMT3
I wrote recently about motorhome deodorization.  I am going to spray the
animal scent spray as recommended by Tom J in my basement area.
But in the meantime, I have found something that works like a charm inside
the coach.

Did any of you AOL users get a message that they are discontinuing newsgroups?
How do you non-AOL readers access these newsgroups?
I signed up for Usenet, but is it free somewhere.

I have a Atwood oven that has quit working on me. The pilot works fine,
and when you turn it up, the pilot gets bigger, but there is no gas
coming out the main tube.
I went to the local RV place and they said it would be the valve and
Dometic Refridgerator Fire29 Jan 2005 23:50 GMT3
FYI,
I had emailed Keystone about the Dometic refrigerator catching my Cougar RV

Stay home!29 Jan 2005 00:15 GMT68
After reading the gun toting posts,my advise is if you are that scared to be
on the road stay home.  In order to effectively use a gun you must be wide
awake, practice regularly and be in pretty decent physical and mental health.
I am not against guns having shot competively and ...
Campground Owners28 Jan 2005 23:53 GMT1
Just wondering if there is a good newsgroup out there for campground owners?
If not, perhaps some of you can provide assistance. I am working on a
campground reservation system, and I am looking for suggestions and/or input
on how it should be structured.

I am retiring soon and will hit the road on an extended basis. I have
a few questions for those that know.
"Coast to Coast" - If you know you can recover the initial fee and the
upkeep is $250 to $300, do you think this is a good investment? I
The Dark Side of Class C Motorhomes......25 Jan 2005 19:45 GMT6
Looking for advice, folks!  We're thinking of moving from our well-used
Coleman Popup to a Class C.  The benefits of a motorhome seem obvious, but
what are the drawbacks?  I've started a list below, are there other items we
should consider before spending the big bucks?

I'm looking for some experienced advice concerning putting a small
