Just got back from a trip to central Florida from Southern
New England. I've been making this trip at least once a
year for the last 15 years. Its taking me longer and longer
each year. This year it took me about 25 hours. On the way
Charging pop-up battery during a trip?28 Apr 2005 14:50 GMT45
Hey all-
I'm still researching for my eventual pop-up trailer purchase, and
while I think I've figured out how most of the systems work, I'm still
coming up short on a couple of areas.

I'm new to this news group and to pop up trailers.  I just purchased a 1986
Bonair BA700.  It is in great condition and requires no work to go camping.
I wanted to get some basic insurance for this trailer, but my insurance
company wants to know the original new price for this ...

TIA for any assistance.........
1989 Palomino Tent Trailer27 Apr 2005 02:53 GMT3
I might be buying this trailer used.  Looks to be in decent shape.  It
will be my first tent trailer.  What I want to know is how much weight
can the beds hold?  Can 2 grown adults sleep on one with no problems?
Is there is a weight limit?  I tried looking for an owners manual, but
Will really high fuel prices slow down your RV travels this summer    ?26 Apr 2005 23:45 GMT13
If your rig gets 6-8 mpg ,  will the gas prices force you to take much

towing a level trailer26 Apr 2005 15:59 GMT8
I bought a new tow vehicle, hooked up the pop-up for the first time
last weekend and the trailer does not sit level like it did with the
old tow vehicle.
Beside the butt of the pop-up very low to the ground, how dangerous is

trailer bearings25 Apr 2005 01:59 GMT2
I just procured the rolling chassis of a 9 foot pop-up trailer that I intend
to build into a utility trailer of some kind.
My question surrounds the hubs - I'm not entirely familiar with bearings - I
pulled the axle out and removed the hubs.  The bearings /look/ ok, and when
Jayco Hybrids?24 Apr 2005 01:07 GMT4
Howdy folks,
I used to frequent ARVPUT a couple of years ago (before I lost my camper
in my divorce).  I've been getting the itch again and wanted to move up
to a hybrid. The old pop-up is too much of a pain to set up and I really
What is this RV?23 Apr 2005 15:34 GMT4
