We are in the market for a new battery. I read that a maintence free battery is not the way to go but.... some people advise buying the yellow top deep cycle Optima. I think it is a maintence free battery. Suggestions for a good battery?

I have a 78 or 79 coleman pop up camper and can raiase the top up but can't lower it? It has 2 bars sticking out that a can turn clockwise to jack the top up. One is located on the bottom front of the camper with soemthin nextt to it that looks like it coudl be a release or a lever.
