I have a Jayco pop-up and I took it out last week. It was especially hot here in Texas. I think the ambient temperature was around 98 degrees. Even though I have air conditioning in the unit, it was still very hot. Not was hot as it was outside, but hot. I understand that the ...

| air conditioner performance | 21 Jun 2005 22:59 GMT | 1 |
I just had a 13,500 BTU air conditioner installed in my pop-up and I'm wondering how I can check it's performance. It doesn't seem to be cooling as well as it should and I'm curious if there is a place in the popup (or at the vent) that I should take a measurement and what

| A/C doesn't cool very well | 19 Jun 2005 00:37 GMT | 2 |
My camper's A/C doesn't cool nearly as well as it should. I suspect the thing is gone low on freon over the years. I don't have any experience with RV air conditioning. Is there a way to check/recharge the system? I inquired about new unit prices and at $700.00

| Why I will always pack wheel bearings every spring | 18 Jun 2005 19:17 GMT | 16 |
We had to forego our usual fall camping trip last year so I was almost tempted to skip packing the wheel bearings this spring - it's a messy job that I don't at all look forward to. Glad I didn't skip it though. The front brake shoe linings on both right wheels had detached ...

The manual for the Xantrex RC-7 control panel for our inverter says "All DC loads should be disconnected during the equalize charge period due to the higher voltage applied to the batteries (15+ volts DC)". If I pull the fuses for the fridge, HydroHot, and thermostats, will all

I'd like to upgrade our Jayco 12FSO by adding an electric water pump and accumulator. What kind of faucet do I upgrade to? I'd like one that will work with water hookup, tank water from the electric pump, and also have backup hand pump. Is there such a faucet?
