Heat of Summer23 Jun 2005 00:59 GMT5
I have a Jayco pop-up and I took it out last week.  It was especially hot
here in Texas.  I think the ambient temperature was around 98 degrees. Even
though I have air conditioning in the unit, it was still very hot.  Not was
hot as it was outside, but hot.  I understand that the ...

air conditioner performance21 Jun 2005 22:59 GMT1
I just had a 13,500 BTU air conditioner installed in my pop-up and I'm
wondering how I can check it's performance. It doesn't seem to be
cooling as well as it should and I'm curious if there is a place in the
popup (or at the vent) that I should take a measurement and what

GULFSTREAM19 Jun 2005 16:32 GMT1
Am considering the purchase a new 2005 GULFSTREAM FRIENDSHIP.  Would like
input from owners on this motor home.  Are you happy with it, if you had to
do it over again, would you still buy one?  Have you had good dealer
support? Thank you one and all.
Moving popup sideways in garage19 Jun 2005 03:10 GMT26
Hey all-
I found a thread on this subject from a few years back, so I thought
I'd see if anyone has any new ideas.
My 2-car garage is substantially wider than the door, so I want to be
A/C doesn't cool very well19 Jun 2005 00:37 GMT2
My camper's A/C doesn't cool nearly as well as it should.  I suspect the
thing is gone low on freon over the years.
I don't have any experience with RV air conditioning.  Is there a way to
check/recharge the system?  I inquired about new unit prices and at $700.00
Why I will always pack wheel bearings every spring18 Jun 2005 19:17 GMT16
We had to forego our usual fall camping trip last year so I was almost
tempted to skip packing the wheel bearings this spring - it's a messy
job that I don't at all look forward to.  Glad I didn't skip it though.
The front brake shoe linings on both right wheels had detached ...
Equalizing batteries and disconnecting DC17 Jun 2005 19:36 GMT15
The manual for the Xantrex RC-7 control panel for our inverter says "All
DC loads should be disconnected during the equalize charge period due to
the higher voltage applied to the batteries (15+ volts DC)".
If I pull the fuses for the fridge, HydroHot, and thermostats, will all
Generator Connection17 Jun 2005 19:06 GMT9
I just was surprised with a Honda EU3000 generator so we can run the AC in
our Pop-Up.  The generator has a 120 V 30 amp connection on it but the
outlet configuration is different from the type of plug that the pop up
plugs into..  Does anyone know of a convertor so I can plug ...
Three way water pump17 Jun 2005 15:52 GMT2
I'd like to upgrade our Jayco 12FSO by adding an electric water pump and
accumulator. What kind of faucet do I upgrade to? I'd like one that will
work with water hookup, tank water from the electric pump, and also have
backup hand pump. Is there such a faucet?
