Which Class A is better? 19 Jul 2005 16:33 GMT4
As I go along checking out rigs and getting confused more and more every
day, there are two finalists (at least for this week) and I want to seek
your opinions.
Which is a better coach: The Hurricane 33H or The Gulfstream Independence
About prohibiting RVs in parking lots19 Jul 2005 15:48 GMT41
We're seeing more and more communities, even states, trying to prohibit RVs
overnight at stores such as Walmart. The rule is often something like, "No
sleeping in vehicles outside designated camp grounds." It's a blatant
attempt to require that we fund campgrounds.
Newbie Questions19 Jul 2005 12:35 GMT4
I Have been a tent camper for years, but for the past couple  of seasons my
wife has been reluctant to head out.  She kept hinting about a pop up to get
up off the ground... so I caved and purchased a used 92 Starcraft Metorite..
it has a few issues that I am trying to sort out.. ...

Strength of folding tongue jack when used with WD hitch18 Jul 2005 17:49 GMT8
It takes a lot of effort to crank my hitch up to get the bars on & off
(Reese mini 350) and even on level pavement I've got the jack nearly
fully-extended.  Lately the jack is hard to fold--it's a little bent
at the mount (but the snap ring still looks straight).  I'm sure
Bedding is moist from humidity18 Jul 2005 02:16 GMT2
Any ideas how to keep our bedding dry? Humidity and dew get between the
sheets during the day. Sure is an uncomfortable feeling. We've tried the A/C
and the furnace, no go.
Driving Beartooth HIghway in Wyoming in a smallish RV17 Jul 2005 01:13 GMT4
My wife and I will rent an RV in the 22' to 25' (max) size next June for one
month. We would like to drive the RV on Beartooth Highway which is on the
Wyoming/Montana border. Do you think we would have any trouble on this road
with a smallish RV? We rented a 22' RV this past spring ...
Cell phone Alaska16 Jul 2005 04:02 GMT5
I read in a previous post about cell phone signals around major
cities (both of them) in Alaska.  Anybody know whether or no I'll be
able to get a cell phone signal in and around Skagway?  I have Cingular,
but I understand that where the towers are nearby all the services

Water heater problem15 Jul 2005 22:06 GMT1
We have an Atwood 6.2 gal water heater, model GCAA-9E. We use it on propane.
Lately the reset light has been coming on with some frequency. Usually
turning it off & back on will start it back up, but sometimes we have to
leave it off for a while before it will restart.

Travel books for Idaho15 Jul 2005 04:11 GMT1
Next June my wife and I plan a one month RV trip in Wyoming, Idaho, and
Montana. We got the Moon Handbooks Wyoming book which is excellent. We have
read reviews of the Moon Handbooks Idaho book which are VERY mixed. Does
anyone have a recommendation for a good book describing Idaho?
