Looking at a 1987 Ford Champion Telstar Motorhome (24') with 115000 miles on a Ford 460 engine. Looks great inside and outside just needs a good wash. The dash AC is not working, owner says he adds freon and a few months later needs to add more. Owner is asking $6500 My concern is

I have an Onan 2.2kw generator. The last time I tried to use it about 3 months ago. It would start but as soon as I let go of the start button it would stop. I assume its a relay. So today Itriedto fix it and it wouldnt start. I pulled the gas line and it isnt pumping any gas.

I have just replaced 2 12 deep cycle type 24 batteries with a couple of U2200 6v batteries. Of course, the exisiting (type 24) battery boxes are not deep enough for these batteries. I assumed that it would be no problem to find boxes to fit.
