no lights21 Oct 2005 15:07 GMT6
Well...
Had the camper (Coleman Rio 1998) open the past week and just noticed that
the overhead lights are not working.  Not sure of the last time I saw them
working now that I think about it.
testing brakes using 12 volt battery charger20 Oct 2005 19:47 GMT12
This so cool! I am excited being a new trailer owner.
I just bought a used Dutchmen '96 popup for the family.  I am very
mechanically inclined, however, electrical and this popup thing is all
new to me.
Coleman Santa Fe - Roof Gasket20 Oct 2005 02:49 GMT6
The roof gasket on my 97 Fleetwood/Coleman Santa Fe is in bad shape, it is
coming off the camper top in places and more important is tearing around the
door. The local dealership says that they can not get parts for it, and I
can not find any online.
After market backup camera20 Oct 2005 01:29 GMT11
My wife and I have just purchased our first RV, a 02 Allegro 31DA.  It does
not have a backup camera on it now, and I want to add one.
I don't need anything fancy, and found the following:

Workhorse Chassis Question19 Oct 2005 01:19 GMT3
I test drove a brand new 2006 27' Itasca with a Workhorse chassis.
The test drive was not good.  The unit wandered, the steering wheel was
off-centre, and the unit seemed out of alignment.  I was definitely fighting
the road.
Seeking opinions for unusual connection for inverter19 Oct 2005 01:16 GMT9
I am getting over 200Ah battery reserve for my RV. I want to explore
temporary connections from this 12v power to the 110v system using a
1200watt inverter so I can run the electric coffe maker and the microwave,
for example.

What are the advantages of having a satellite digital antenna on a motor
home?
Thanks
Vintage Aliner Camper Info17 Oct 2005 18:18 GMT4
I have just purchased an old Aliner that is in very good condition. The
trouble is that I do not know what year it is or where I can find
restoration parts. Here's some details:
Corrugated steel (and/or aluminum) construction with no insulation at
Universal Marine & RV in Rochester MN15 Oct 2005 05:36 GMT3
I felt obligated to warn people away from doing business at the
Universal Marine & RV dealership in Rochester Minnesota.  My own
experience was in buying a used class C motorhome from them.  They sold
it to me with a broken fuel gauge, promising to pay for the repairs
Warranties15 Oct 2005 04:05 GMT19
We just bought a used (1995) Holiday Rambler "Endeavor."  It is the
first diesel we have owned.  I am interested in purchasing a two or
three-year warranty.
I would be interested to hear opinions about these "after-market"
Best Towbar14 Oct 2005 20:13 GMT4
For almost 20 years now I've towed with a plain, fixed, A-frame type of tow
bar (a Reese Tow Champ)..............now I'd like to upgrade to the type of
towbar that folds up after towing and then remains on the receiver of my
coach.
Running the fridge on 120 v. Inverter Power ; whats the big deal ?!14 Oct 2005 19:07 GMT19
Ive read a couple of posts of people denouncing this 'because it puts
too much strain on the engines Alternator'  ;  Ive also read of folks
doing this without ANY problems whatsoever, including myself .   There
are plenty of loads on the engine that draw some 15-20 amps of DC power
RV trip in continental divide area of Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho in June14 Oct 2005 00:58 GMT13
My wife and I plan to take an extended trip for the entire month of June
next year in the continental divide area of the northern Rockies. I have
looked at lots of weather data with average rainfall etc. Based on that
data, it would seem that it would be a lot wetter and cloudier ...
