Problems - 2000 Winnebago Journey DL 35'31 Dec 2005 16:00 GMT2
Hi, my husband and I ordered a 2000 Journey back in '99 from the factory.
We went with Winnebago because I'm a paraplegic and they were the only major
manufacturer that had a in house "specialty vehicle" department.  They
modified it with a roll-in shower, second second door with a ...
Williston Crossings RV Resort31 Dec 2005 09:31 GMT9
The Williston Crossings RV Resort just opened last month.  I have just
returned from taking a look at the facility and was impressed with what the
owners (Bill and Denise Marin) are doing.
The Resort is located on a 160 acre tract that contains an old barrow pit.
Anyone know anything about Cokato Lakes?30 Dec 2005 23:36 GMT3
I found out about the Cokato Lake RV Resort up in MN...it seems like a
pretty interesting place and I'm thinking about buying a lot there.
Does anyone have any feedback, what's the community out there like?
Is the lake nice?
Back in line29 Dec 2005 20:02 GMT5
Been gone for quite a while....  Here is a short update.
Can't remember exactly when it was that I lost reliable internet
connection. I know it was sometime before the end of July when we left
for the summer. This included seeing the grand kids in ID, going to

Well, today has been a disaster.
It started innocently enough with everybody packing and organizing to go
to Valle de Allende.  About 10 AM Kathy tripped over something on the
stair from the bedroom and half-fell against the kitchen counter, twisting

Nova Scotia RV Parking Ban Study - Report Available27 Dec 2005 17:07 GMT157
I have posted on my website the results of the on-line 'Survey on
the Effect on RV Tourism of the Overnight Parking Ban in Nova Scotia'
that some of you took last summer. The survey is contained in a larger
study of Nova Scotia's RVer parking ban and the potentially stifling

Today was Christmas, so Kathy and I decided that there would be no
surprises or hassles.  She was still hurting a little, so we finally got
out of bed around 9:30 AM and started the final stowing and organization
of the big 5th wheel.
Mexico Trip - 12/24/0525 Dec 2005 10:55 GMT2
Saturday was a day of ups and downs. I went to the CIMA business office to
see about health insurance issues and discovered they only accept health
insurance from two Mexican companies.  They also did not accept
international bank checks. We checked cash and credit card balances and

McAllen,TX area?23 Dec 2005 21:19 GMT5
Planning on going to the south TX area in late Jan without making
reservations. Will we have a problem finding a reasonable priced site
at that time? We have never been there before. Any tips would be
appreciated.
Backup Battery Power23 Dec 2005 19:50 GMT139
I no sooner posted what I thought I wanted in Battery Power then a
storm came through and wiped out shore power. Now here I set working
off line learning a lot about this rig. Number one I remembered to
put the refrig and water heater on gas before cranking up a gen set.
Mexico Trip - 12/22/0523 Dec 2005 19:01 GMT2
Today started unexpectedly with a knock on the trailer door at 1:00 AM.
Since we were the only trailer in the park last night, this was a little
bit scary.  I got up, turned on the outside lights and asked, "Who's
