Battery Replacement17 Jan 2006 16:35 GMT7
I have an RV with 3 batteries. One 12v for the engine and two 6v for
the RV.  I will need to replace these batteries soon.
What's the best replacement solution?  Stay with the 1x12v and 2x6v
or go all 12v?  I know I'll have to run the 2x12v in parallel if I
4x2 vs 4x417 Jan 2006 03:25 GMT115
I want to get a tow vehicle for a 29ft fifth wheel.  I have read a lot
of posting about gas vs diesel and which auto maker to go with.  I
would like to hear what folks with experience have to say about weather
to get a 4x2 or 4x4 diesel tow vehicle.

Yuma TABLE size14 Jan 2006 15:57 GMT3
Planning on buying a 2006 Fleetwood Dentiny Series YUMA Model pop-up
camper.  Does anyone happen to know the dimensions of the table in the
Yuma?  I assume the table is  probably the same as most of the others
but it is awfully tight for two adults.  I'm wondering how we're going
Trailer Braking Problems13 Jan 2006 21:33 GMT19
'99 F-250 V-10 Auto pulling a 29' Alpenlite.  Jordan brake controller.
The problem is that the trailer brakes don't help enough after the
first mile or so.  If everything is cold and I drive along at 20mph and
push the manual button on the brake controller all the way, the trailer
Using MH Gen for emergency 11 Jan 2006 23:12 GMT12
Has anyone ever thought of using the gen in a Motor Home to power your house
in emergency's? I know you would have to back feed your electrical box in
the house and kill the main breaker. Also kick most breakers only using the
few needed in an emergency outage.

Thanks.

Generator Problem Please help07 Jan 2006 18:26 GMT14
I have a Kohler Confidant 4.  My problem is that it will run as long as
there is no load on it more than a few lights.  When it dies I can wait just
about a minute and restart it again, however as soon as a load is applied it
will die.

Monday morning, we decided to leave El Paso and try to make it to Fort
