We are being told by our TT manufacturer that it's normal to lose ¼ of our
'full' fresh water tank while traveling!  Does this sound correct to you
veteran RV'ers out there?

Looking for Colorado campground suggestions18 Feb 2006 03:05 GMT1
Hey all-
We're planning a trip to Colorado in July, and I wanted to ask for
recommendations for places to stay.  No one on this group has steered me
wrong yet!  We want two nights near Estes Park/RMNP and 5 nights near
Entertainment While Boon Docking18 Feb 2006 01:44 GMT27
Entertainment While Boon Docking has discussed. Treasure
hunting with a metal detector has been one, Bird watching
another. What else is there? I would think the metal
detector would be more of what I would like. What are the
For Gulfstream Friendship Owners17 Feb 2006 16:02 GMT1
Bought a 2005 GS Friendship G7 not long ago (first diesel pusher) and am
frustrated by both GS and Freightliner manuals. I am going to Freightliner
dealer for a couple of problems in about 3 weeks, but would like advice
before that, if anyone has any.
new pop up buyer..which one?15 Feb 2006 21:15 GMT4
What brand is the best?  Every dealer has their own opinion of course.  I
like the looks of the fleetwood.  Am I on the right track?  Is there a
trailer review site anywhere?  thanks
FS: two motor scooters (Honda & Yamaha)15 Feb 2006 19:40 GMT1
I have a red 1994 Honda Elite 80 scooter with less than 2,500 miles,
new tires last year, and a red 1989 Yamaha Raz (49cc) scooter with less than
700 miles on
it. The local Yamaha shop installed a new carburetor within the past year or

Just wanted to brag that we just bought a 2006 30' Outback FW and pick it up
this Friday. We feel in love with the styling and openness inside. the
dealer made us a deal that we couldn't refuse. Hopefully we will get to use
it yet this month, depends on what this weather does. It ...
Small motorhomes with good fuel economy14 Feb 2006 20:07 GMT13
I have a 1991 Winnebago Warrior 21-foot motorhome, the one that's
based on the Toyota cab and chassis truck.  I am considering selling
it and getting a new motorhome, and I would like one that is
comparable in size to the Warrior, and comparable in fuel economy (14
The proper care and washing of an RV14 Feb 2006 03:59 GMT6
Okay, okay.  It has been a good while since I washed my RV.  I'm lazy.
It is a '96 Newmar 38' Mountain Aire, fiberglass sides.
Now, I want to put it up for sale, and want to clean it up.  I just went out
and did one side.  I did it with the overpriced telescopic pole that water
Do rear kitchens pose any drawbacks?14 Feb 2006 01:39 GMT16
After reading some very enlightening postings on
the importance of proper weight distribution within
the trailer, I couldn't help but wonder --
Since kitchen appliances add considerable weight,

aluminum patch - and part question13 Feb 2006 02:28 GMT6
I'm getting ready to repair the roof on my '93 coleman.  The former owner
screwed brackets to the top of it and it has compromised the roof.  I
basically have to patch a bunch of screw holes in the aluminum skin of the
roof.
