I am towing an Artic Fox 29-5 (13,500 pounds fully loaded) with a '06 Dodge

Fleetwood Highlander Niagra?12 Mar 2006 19:41 GMT5
We're pretty new at this, after tent camping for many years, getting to
late 40's and want a more comfortable step up. Went to the RV show today
and the Fleetwood Niagra (Highlander line) caught our eye, spacious for
a pop-up. Can anyone comment on this? We're thinking of maybe ...
siding11 Mar 2006 16:33 GMT1
Where can one get the aluminum or the fiberglass skin siding  which is
insulated and has a  vinyl covering on the inside?  It's about 1" thick.  Is
it mad only for the manufacture of trailers?
Thanks
Getting ready11 Mar 2006 16:30 GMT9
Well, we got the Allegiance out of the garage and popped it up in the
driveway earlier this week.  Thus far, we had only camped in it once, and
regular readers will recall the problems we (and Jim Redelfs) found in our
brand new "little house", and how glad we were we had purchased ...
Size of RV at campgrounds11 Mar 2006 00:03 GMT10
I am looking at either a 30' or 34' RV. I notice that some capgrounds say
RVs up to 30'. Is this common. What percent of campgrounds (state, private,
national) typically support RVs up to 34'? If a site says "only up to 30
feet" ...what if the RV is 31 feet? Will they turn you ...
Getting ready to purchase our first pop up, need advice10 Mar 2006 12:23 GMT7
My family of four (2 kids age 16 and 5) and hubby and I are about to
purchase our first camper....a popup camper.  I am looking for opinions
of knowledgable campers, and thought this would be a great place to
look.  Are there any brands or types that you strongly recommend or
Non-electric coffee maker? Suggestion??10 Mar 2006 12:23 GMT56
I'm back for some more info!!
Coffeemakers..I'll want a non-electric since I want to cut down usage
of electric (I don't want to fire up the jenny for just coffee, though
it is almost important enough) and thought you people might have some
Awning attachment rail for trailer10 Mar 2006 00:19 GMT2
Would anyone have a source where I could purchase the aluminum "C-channel"
rail that permanently mounts on the side of a pop-up, into which, the awning
case/awning slides into it for attachment to the trailer?  The pop-up is a
2000 Palomino Yearling but I assume the C channel is ...
RV Mattresses08 Mar 2006 11:44 GMT33
I think the mattress that came with my rig is about as sorry as you
could get. It is a standard 60X80" box springs with a thin blanket on
each side. The Memory foam ones are so high, like $1,000 a copy. There
must be one that could be in the middle for comfort. When I take an
Why you should hate niggers07 Mar 2006 16:16 GMT2
I Hate Niggers
Niggers piss me off. They think that they can squeeze their foot in
the door of America's power scheme by taking over the entertainment
industry. They are succeeding and it's pissing me off. Did I mention
Venture Chalet - Followup06 Mar 2006 18:07 GMT4
I have just posted pictures of this older popup in the Pre-1980 popup group
on Yahoo.

Looking for someone who has taken RV trips in the Montana and Wyoming and Idaho areas06 Mar 2006 05:14 GMT34
My wife and I are going to rent a small (22') RV for the month of June
starting in Salt Lake City. I have done a lot (too much??) research on
things to see. I would like to carry on an email conversation with someone
who has travelled in this area so I can work out a rough ...
Pennsylvanian--Nearest Casita, Scamp, Trillium "Dealers?"06 Mar 2006 03:32 GMT4
I read their ads in AARP and read an awful lot of posts on this group
(archived) about these trailers.  The manufacturers all invite you to
visit their factory, but what if you want to find one closer to home?
Texas and Minnesota are pretty far from PA.
Venture Chalet06 Mar 2006 02:13 GMT5
Saw a little popup in town today and thought I would check it out.  Is
labled "Venture Chalet".
I know Venture was owned by Starcraft for a while, but haven't had any luck
there.
