| Gas War | 28 Apr 2006 02:49 GMT | 62 |
The ever climbing gas prices are forcing many of us with RVs to park our rigs. We can not stop buying gas for our every day needs, but we can force a GAS WAR to drive down prices. How you say; by boycotting the largest oil companies (Exxon, Mobil). Just think of it, if millions ...

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with the propane burning mosquito control devices, like the Mosquito Deleto and the Mosquito Magnet. They sound great, getting rid of mosquitoes for an acre of land. Wow. If they actually work I would be tempted to get one for

| Leaving Truck Camper on Jacks? | 24 Apr 2006 10:40 GMT | 3 |
I have a 1997 Coachmen which has 4 electric jacks. They are screw jacks. Camper is on a 2001 Dodge 2500 TD 6-speed. I need to put cinder blocks under the jacks to get it high enough to get it in and out of the truck.

| Next accessory item for class C | 24 Apr 2006 04:52 GMT | 4 |
Ok, I have some minor solar panels, I have decided that an LPG accessory tank isn't needed based upon my useage. I don't have and never will have a TV in the RV although I use a notebook computer in travel for movies, journal and such.

We have a 1997 Coachmen PU slide in camper. The weather strip on the main skyight/escape hatch over the bed (which is over the truck cab) is shot. At 26 below (F) the heater just works too hard (we bought this for snowmobiling). I have been looking everywhere for a replacement.

I saw recently that repairs have been completed on the last stretch of the BRP that was damaged last year by tropical storms. The entire parkway is now open. The damaged area was in the area from Linville to Spruce Pine.
