During our vacation I forgot the jockey wheel when I was packing up at
one of our stops so now I am looking for a replacement. 1998 Jayco

Elk Meadows RV Park-Estes Park, Co26 Jul 2006 14:37 GMT9
Just spent 5 days there and one of the things I needed was a internet WiFi
connection that they advertised.  This is the only reason I chose this park.
Lo and behold yes they did have it when it worked.  You needed to take your
laptop and wander around the park to either the ...

If not, does anyone know of another place to look?
Thor T@B trailer26 Jul 2006 00:28 GMT23
My wife and I are looking into buying a small trailer that we can pull with
our Toyota Avalon 1999.  We have our eyes on this small trailer made by
Thor. Any recommendations on this unit and are there any other make/models
we should be looking at before buying.  This would be our ...
Toad Speed Limits25 Jul 2006 23:50 GMT3
Many 4-wheel-down vehicles list a maximum speed to be observed when they are
being towed.  Hondas, like my CRV, tend to list 65 mph as the top speed.
Yet, every time I venture out, people are blowing my doors off - while
pulling CRV's or Elements - just like Dale Earnhardt is ...
Jacking Up Tent Trailer25 Jul 2006 13:18 GMT5
We recently purchased our first tent trailer, a 1989 Starcraft.
Unfortunately it did not include an owners manual.  I would like to check
the bearings prior to taking it out on our first long camping trip, but I am
unsure on the recommended method for jacking up the trailer.  ...
Bed of Hybrid vs. pop-up24 Jul 2006 01:54 GMT5
Any hybrid users here? I'm curious how the beds compare for comfort, pop-up
vs. hybrid. Same better or  worse? Do hybrids have to deal with the same
condensation problems that pop-ups do?Thank you.
towables24 Jul 2006 00:59 GMT2
can anyone tell me where can I find information about what are the best cars
to be towed by a class C? I do know some cars are not towable meaning you
will need a dolly or a trailer, but I would like to know where can I find
more info.
Carrier racks23 Jul 2006 12:24 GMT2
Has anyone had a bike/luggage rack installed on the roof of thier popup? I
am thinking of putting one on our
Fleetwood Niagra just for lawn chairs and small folding tables. Nothing
heavy. Any good/bad info appreciated
Winnebago GLUT on the market after...22 Jul 2006 01:42 GMT49
Has anyone any more information on the thousands of Winnebagos bought by
FEMA for the New Orleans project?  It seems that unless they (FEMA) destroys
them, the RVs could flood the market and sell so cheap that Winnebago
Industries itself could be threatened. Watch for Winnebago ...
Powering a 1200 w. Inverter directly from the Engines Alternator21 Jul 2006 01:49 GMT5
I know someone who is doing this without any problems. It is fused at 30
amps. The Inverter powers his fridge using the 110 v. heating elements
within for better operation.  (probably could use a 400 watt and get
by).
New (for me) Class C Owner needs maintenance advice19 Jul 2006 21:58 GMT1
I just purchased a 1991 Sprinter/Mallard Class C.  It is 28' and has a
Ford chassis.  I did not recieve any documentation and need advice on
what items I should be most concerned with maintaining.  I do plan to
request owners manuals from Fleetwood (who appears to own Mallard now)
Trailer brakes not working - ground problem??19 Jul 2006 16:53 GMT15
I had after-market trailer brakes added to my 1993 Starcraft thanks to
advice from this newsgroup. Now they are not working. Specifically, there is
no electrical connection that is making a difference to my Techonsa
controller. At first, it was intermittent, now it is permanent. ...
Need help tracking down taillight short18 Jul 2006 21:32 GMT2
I have a 75 TravelMate pop-up camper that apparently has a short in the
running light wiring.  All other lights are working fine, but every
time I turn on the vehicle headlights, it blows the taillight fuse in
the vehicle.  I have checked the obvious grounds at the tongue and on
