Another Propane/battery thread30 Sep 2006 18:28 GMT36
I've been reading the past posts in these two newsgroups about propane
and battery life, so I'm learning a bit here and there. But, I'm still
mostly ignorant, so I'm hoping to get some advice.
Here's the setup:
Drill Raises the Roof28 Sep 2006 20:23 GMT16
The following is pasted from another forum I replied to on 7/31...I bought a
2005 Viking/Coachman Clipper about 3 weeks ago with a 13,000 BTU AC unit on
top. This model uses the new ACME screw mechanism for the lift. It also uses
a chain drive extension that is 2 feet up from the ...
Fantastic Fan is intermittant...28 Sep 2006 15:06 GMT9
My RV has been sitting in the side yard all summer while we flew
to California and spent $3.00 per gallon on gas while there.
The Fantastic Fan has been on, set up pretty high, just to keep
some ventilation going.  I checked yesterday and it was not
plugged drain pipe28 Sep 2006 00:18 GMT23
When I pulled the drain handle outside for the brown water it just
trickled out into the blue tank.  I checked the tub and noticed water
just below the drain.  I have a feeling there is obstruction between
the kitchen sink and the tub (we don't use the shower)  I surmise that

We bought our 30' Rexhal Aires about 9 months ago because we have two
German Shepherds- one has epilepsy and needs meds 4 times a day and we
BAJA: The rv hookup27 Sep 2006 15:39 GMT2
We went on the walk through last weekend and the house is about done...
On the RV hookup, they had the dump/clean out in a wall with the water and
electric, which was ok except that it was about 18" off the ground... they're
moving it to ground level this week...

Hi to All,
I have been looking on the Internet for a trailer I saw 7 or 8 years ago and
have not been able to find it.
I don't know if you call it a JACK up trailer or FOLD up trailer POP-up
New Diesel Numbers26 Sep 2006 04:54 GMT5
I have been filling up with #2 diesel.  Now, I see B5 biodiesel, and low
sulphur fuels.
I think that the 2007 and later will have to run the low sulphur fuels, but
that you can run the low sulphur fuels in the older engines now.  Is that
Laptop battery help  - not OT26 Sep 2006 04:43 GMT63
Minor panic - I just learned today that the internal battery in my
Gateway Solo 1450 is defunct.  Evidently I haven't exercised it
enough.
I would like to replace it before leaving on a trip next Friday.  Some
Pink Stuff Dillution?23 Sep 2006 20:47 GMT14
Here in Cincy it rarely gets much below zero degrees Fahrenheit.  I see that
standard pink stuff is good for 25 below.  We expect to use our new
Sunseeker a couple of times a month all year round so the cost of pink stuff
is a consideration.  How much can this stuff be diluted ...

Thoughts on a 2001 Franklin 426RLB 42ft travel trailer to park permanently23 Sep 2006 12:44 GMT5
saw one for sale may be cheap needing a little work. the park where I
want to bring it has a size limit and must comply with the standards
for park trailers set by RPTIA not to exceed 400 sq ft which is
measured to the maximum horizontal projections of exterior walls in
Replacing springs on old pop-up22 Sep 2006 01:19 GMT7
I have an old 1969 Skamper tent trailer. It's so old that it's the
spring-loaded
kind (you push up each side by hand). Now, both springs are gone on one
end, which makes it very heavy to lift. I've called around to various RV
Popup Tires21 Sep 2006 03:09 GMT16
I have a popup with one tire that is beginning to show minor cracks.
The date on the tire says it is 9 years old.  The other tire looks fine
