We said:
"We are looking for a trailer with a walkaround full size queen, or the
ability to replace the 75" queen with a 80" queen and still get around

Hi again,
I was trying to find a small travel trailer, but they are more

Trying to find small, used, cheap travel trailer14 Feb 2007 03:30 GMT9
I'm trying to find a small, used, cheap travel trailer like the header
says, but so far all I've been able to find are trailers much bigger
than what I need, for about $4K and up. I'm thinking about an old
trailer 20 feet or shorter, for a grand or so. I'm in the Atlanta, GA

Winnebago factory11 Feb 2007 18:12 GMT5
Has anyone tried to purchase an RV directly from the Winnebago
factory?  My guess is that they would have no interest in selling
dirrect to the customer because of contractual obligations.

An Appology09 Feb 2007 22:22 GMT4
When I warned that RORT had some issues, I did not expect to start a
local flame war.
I regret that all the readers of the group were subjected to such.

Equalizing charger on deep cycle batteries09 Feb 2007 15:10 GMT11
I've been reading a bit about battery maintenance and discovered the
"equalizing charge" subject. Since I'd never heard of it and it
requires a special battery charger I wonder if anyone has any
exprience. How much do they cost?
Gravel Damage on Trip to Alaska09 Feb 2007 13:23 GMT5
I'm planning a trip to Alaska, pulling my '91 18' Terry Resort with my
'97 Chevrolet K1500 truck-extended cab, short bed.
I made the trip in '92 (same trailer, different tow vehicle), and
gravel damage was an annoying problem.  I made a  screen for the front

IS  RORT  ALL THAT IT'S CRACKED UP TO BE??08 Feb 2007 04:36 GMT1
Is RORT all it's cracked up to be or does it really stand for Really
Old Rightwing Toads?
Is it a secret organization like the Order of the Antelope, the Sons
of Liberty or The Klan or are they an ultra-liberal neo-Commie bunch
Vixen RV. Anything manufactured today like it?08 Feb 2007 03:20 GMT1
Is there any RV that is like the Vixen manufactured today?

Ultraviolet Water Treatment (for RVer's or household's) on the cheap.06 Feb 2007 02:16 GMT1
I posted this in RORT but thought I would post it here as well.
As I've mentioned elsewhere, I only have a DIY, (Do It Yourself),
budget and considering the options, I see ultraviolet water treatment,
(combined with filtration), to be my best option for use in my travel
