Questions on Onan Generator Microquiet 4000 Carburetor13 Mar 2007 00:14 GMT2
Would anyone please post or email me pictures of the throttle linkage on an
Onan Microquiet 4000?  I was not getting any gas; I took it off and I am not
sure whether I have the linkage set correctly.  Also, it now floods badly; I
thought the float was messed up, but I think it is ...

Dim tail lights on travel trailer12 Mar 2007 03:13 GMT13
U-Haul installed the 7-pin adapter and now my rear lights on my
Holiday Rambler are dim, including stop light, turn signals and
flashers.  I had a friend check all connections and he found that the
rear lights are getting only 10 volts instead of 12.  He checked all
Anyone tried special ordering thru dealer?11 Mar 2007 23:29 GMT19
Just curious to know if anyone has tried ordering an RV on an invoice
plus basis?  Dealers will sometimes do this on a special order new
car, especially if they don't have the model you want on inventory and
you're not in any big rush.  This gives them a guaranteed sale, adding

I live in the texas area and found this website talking about RV

an isolator control in the engine bay).   And...which will charge the
Coach Battery faster : Running the engine at idle or running the 2.8 ...
Kipor genset09 Mar 2007 21:24 GMT7
Kipor gensets have been discussed in news groups and web forums in the
past and I don't recall any REAL neg comments being said about them.
Was in to Harbor Freight yesterday and noted they were stocking the
small KGE1000Ti genset once again.  It's a Honda EU1000 knockoff. No
Inverter problems06 Mar 2007 22:10 GMT23
I have found some weirdness about my cheap inverter. It is 2000W capacity,
but gives an overload alarm when I directly plugged in a space heater which
was switched to 1500W. At 750W it seemed to work fine.
Every time I plug it in the shore power socket it gives a low voltage
Hydrocaps06 Mar 2007 22:08 GMT4
I saw a reply by the Editors in Motorhome Magazine about Hydrocaps for
the batteries. I really want AGM deep cycle batteries but no one seems
to have them but some will order them at ridiculous prices. Over a
thousand dollars to replace the problamatic lead acid jobs with their
Cooking under way.06 Mar 2007 14:45 GMT21
Has anybody used a slow cooker / crock pot,  powered by an inverter, while
driving ?  I am thinking about laying it in the sink to control movement.
I thought that making a frozen pizza in the oven could be another
possibility.
Chevy vs. Ford on Winnebago 29' Outlook ?05 Mar 2007 22:04 GMT7
Nearing the point of no return in ordering a 2007 Winnebago 29'
Outlook and since my experience has been limited to trailers I
desperately need advice on which automotive/chassis to choose: A or B
I know this has been vigorously debated in the past but not
Rv joke04 Mar 2007 03:02 GMT4
Here in Canada we have the Tim Horton coffee shops and every spring they
have a "Roll up the Rim to win" contest.
The story is told of a young lady {of unidentified hair colour} who
upon rolling up the rim stated to scream: "I've won a motor home, I've
FMCA Rally04 Mar 2007 01:49 GMT11
There's a FMCA Jubilee in Perry Georgia the end of March.
Anyone been to that campground? Do you have to park a rig in the mud?
Comments on these events or anything about rallys?
We've never been to one.
Torque specs for Ford 460 exhaust manifold03 Mar 2007 17:30 GMT4
I just got my right exhaust manifold from my 1996 Ford 460 class C
back from the machine shop.  Apparently the late model manifolds are
so hard, only certain shops will attempt for resurface them.  I
ordered new bolts.  Does anyone have the torque specs for the manifold
Wing TV antenna: effective?03 Mar 2007 11:24 GMT27
In both our old Toyota Dolphin and our new 06 Sunseeker, the TV antenna is
almost useless.  We have camped only a few miles from major downtowns many
times and can maybe pick up a station or two but then we usually have poor
reception.  Both TVs, front and back, get the same poor ...
