Hydrotherm Heater Ignition Solved!30 Apr 2007 19:12 GMT1
I have noticed many people stating problems starting their Hydrotherm
heaters. They turn it on according to instructions and it rarely or never
lights. Well, the instructions are not detailed enough and left one thing
out. If you take the front panel off and look carefully near ...
Quite frankly, I'm appalled. . .30 Apr 2007 19:10 GMT5
I learned something new here today. I learned there's such a thing as a
full time RVer. This shocks and appalls me greatly. It's bad enough that
people buy RVs and use them for vacationing but I guess I can see some
little appeal to that mode of travel for vacations. If only they'd ...

110V wire going to our water heater, but no way to use it.30 Apr 2007 02:03 GMT22
While snooping around inside some cabinetry looking for a place to store a
50 ft. power cord, I noticed that there was a 110V wire attached to the
water heater.  As far as I know, there is no element in the heater and
obviously no way to operate it.  It is strictly propane.  The ...

You can leave a review at each and read the previous reviews. I just
started this forum. Please help fill in the blanks and send me some

Don't drive your RV like a car please.28 Apr 2007 23:40 GMT32
Boy oh boy, another ignorant or bully RVer tried to run me down today
while I was cycling.
Boy oh boy - the RV problem is why we need to adopt the graduated
licensing program that was proposed earlier.then the RV folks (and
RV Fulltimers :  How did you know fulltiming was right for you ?28 Apr 2007 04:50 GMT8
Did you have some reservation about fulltiming being right for you
before you entered into it ?   Did you have a pretty good idea you were
going to be happy doing it based on some extended RV trips ?  Did you
sell your primary residence , cars, etc ... or, do u have still have a
Broken A/C27 Apr 2007 16:03 GMT18
How difficult is it to install a roof A/C unit? Mine has gone out on my 25'
5th wheel. After researcing the papers on my used Jayco I cannot determine
what size it is. Would anyone have an idea what size BTU unit a 25' would
have been equipped with?
Are conventional fridges working out ok in RV's ??26 Apr 2007 20:29 GMT20
Im seriously considering junking the highly unreliable Dometic 3-way i
have , in favor of a conventional 4.3 cu.ft. 115 v. (only) fridge and
running it off of an inverter while travelling and shore power when
camping.   But, im wondering how conventional fridges stand up to the

Jayco 140626 Apr 2007 18:41 GMT8
It's that time of the year when we pull out our campers and get them
ready for some spring camping. I've been pulling my camper with a Ford
F-250 and have had no problems. I have recently sold the Ford and plan
to use my Jeep Wrangler as the tow vehicle. For those who are not
Standing up in a pop up truck camper supported by jackstands25 Apr 2007 21:26 GMT1
I have a viking pop up truck camper which I have owned since 2003. It
weighs about 1000 pounds. The previous owner changed the usual 3 jack
configuration to 4 which kind of makes it more stable. I usually have
disconnected the camper from the truck about 4 or 5 weeks every year
Small-Footprint DVD Player25 Apr 2007 14:50 GMT3
12VDC-capability is preferred but not a requirement.  Any ideas?
Outside the automotive world, the only small one I've seen (but not used) was
a cheap generic from "Big Lots".  My friend bought a couple or three of these
$30 specials and installed one for his mom.  I suspect that ...
Who best represents RVers?23 Apr 2007 21:07 GMT11
Who do you think would best represent the interests of RVers:
Republicans or Democrats?
I think the Democrats would create a lot more parks but close off a lot more
vehicle access and raise gas taxes. RVs would become safer, more expensive
