Ive decided to semi retire very soon and wish to purchase a new Class C.
24-28' long for just me to live in 4 months in the sunbelt each year.
Ive looked at quite a few and have concluded this length is ideal for me
and offers manuerverability in towns.  Id like to limit my spending ...

Let's stop calling them RV's12 May 2007 18:25 GMT15
I've got a better idea. Since there's a bunch of confusion, even here,
about what's an RV and what isn't, I'm proposing a more sensible way to
label stuff with letters.
From now on lets forget about calling things an RV. It's way too broad

Onan Gen Problem11 May 2007 14:43 GMT10
I am now looking at other loads on the system. The Ac will start and
run now with hardly a blip to the gens RPM. However loading other
thing on it bogs it down to the point of non-recovery. I think I may
have a dead short in one of my batteries cause the charging system to
Cascading Transfer Switches10 May 2007 14:21 GMT6
I am going to move my shore power cord from the storage bay to a large
cavity under the bath sink. It will let me have a longer cord and open up
space in the bay. I have an inverter and a generator. In doing this, I will
need at least one transfer switch to allow the shore cord ...
Any experience with on-demand water heaters?10 May 2007 13:55 GMT150
We have a 2007 Tioga (23') and would like to install a LP on-demand
water heater.  If anyone reading this has gone through this process and
would share their experiences (good OR bad), it would be greatly
appreciated.   We're especially interested in initial installation costs,
Onan Gen Problem10 May 2007 06:10 GMT10
Need card rebuild info for a RV QG 4000 Onan. Bogs out and dies under
a heavy load. Good fuel pressure. Starts and runs great with a small
load.
Onan Gen Problem09 May 2007 16:11 GMT7
I ran carb cleaner through the carb until it died and let it sit over
night. Once I blew out the carb cleaner and the generator started
running normal, the AC now kicks on fine. However, when I start the
microwave with the AC on it will still bog down and die. AC is 15K BTU
Waffle House Is #1 With Me --- Mmmmmmmm09 May 2007 06:21 GMT12
I fully realize it's very important in this group to discuss anything
other than RVing but I'm gonna break ranks here and discuss
an experience I had the other day while tooling down the ole concrete
ribbon in my 87' motorhome.
I see ALOT of Coachmen Class C's  on the road.09 May 2007 01:33 GMT2
Seems like about every 3rd one is a Coachmen ;  old established company
High volume producer.  If you have a CM, how has yours been for you ?
Would like opinions especially on the CM Freelander model. Thanks much .
Dave.
Need help : special connector for my Antennae Motorola Signal    Booster09 May 2007 01:21 GMT8
I bought a Motorola TV antennae Signal Booster , but it has a coax screw
connection for the 12 vdc power and i have to use a 110 v - 12 vdc
transformer adapter . This means I have to run the generator or be on
shore power in order to gain the benefit of a far better TV reception ;
Open offer to RVers08 May 2007 10:35 GMT3
I just had a great idea thanks to Jonathan King's kind but somewhat lame
idea. . . (He probably has an unattractive, spinster daughter he wants
to foist off on somebody!)
Just to show how all professional cyclists are cool dudes, I offer to
