Canadian Pharmacies30 Dec 2007 06:51 GMT13
I have some medication bills that are getting a bit stiff.  Living in Cincy,
I was thinking about RVing up to Windsor to see what I could save.  It is
about 4.25 hours and might be a fun trip.  Any experience?
One wire altenator29 Dec 2007 11:53 GMT6
If anyone is having charging problems with an older RV, they make a one wire
alternator that can be used on any engine with a 12 volt system.
You just mount the alternator and run one wire to the positive terminal of
the battery and you are done.
PT Cruiser as a Tow vehicle28 Dec 2007 02:03 GMT8
I apologize if this has been discussed before. I am new to this news group.
Does anyone have any experience towing a PT Cruiser ?
Any advice, warnings suggestions or comments would be appreciated. I am not
an experienced RV owner and have never towed a vehicle before.
05 VW Bug as a towed car? Anyone do this before?27 Dec 2007 16:28 GMT3
I called the VW dealer and he said: no way, towing a 05 bug would void
the warranty.  BUT, I saw on a tow hitch for cars where the "new" bug
is set up as a toad.  Anyone tow a NEW bug? Why would it void the
warranty?
Political: Obama Too Risky27 Dec 2007 01:46 GMT12
Osama Hussien Obama is just way too risky to have as the Democratic
nomination for president. The Republicans are just chomping at the bit
to tear him into pieces. He is weak on many fronts, here are just a

PLASTIC WATER TANK FITTINGS23 Dec 2007 02:34 GMT5
Okay, so I go to fill the fresh water for the first time.  I find that
the fresh water tank drain is broken off at the fitting almost flush
with the tank.  This seems to be removable as if it can be unthreaded
however were I to remove it and some internal plastic nut fall away
Wrangler 4-down21 Dec 2007 23:00 GMT13
I'm setting up my 1998 Wrangler as a toad. It's a manual transmission. Do I
need to do anything beyond putting the transfer case in neutral, I don't
have lockouts on the front hubs.... thanks
Propane Sources21 Dec 2007 14:32 GMT33
We do a bit of winter camping and might expect to have to have to fill our
propane tank a time or two on the road.  I know that Flying 'J's,  U-Haul
and some campgrounds can fill, but what other places are there out there
that are easy to find not too far from the road?
What in-dash receiver works well in an RV?21 Dec 2007 14:24 GMT3
Looking for recommendations on a new in-dash receiver/CD player
suitable for an old person in an RV.
Major problems with the old unit: display is not very visible from a
distance, and the remote stops working about 15 feet back.
Atlanta - Places to stay, things to do21 Dec 2007 13:33 GMT9
We are thinking of going to Atlanta over New Years.  How are the roads from
Cincy, where is a good place to stay and what to do there?  I don't see any
state parks nearby.

Onan 2.5 LP genset15 Dec 2007 18:09 GMT20
I have an Onan 2.5 genset on propane. It will start but not keep running. If
the weather is warm, it will sometimes keep running but in cold weather,
forget it! I am suspecting either the control assembly or the voltage
regulator rather than the fuel/ignition side. If I hold the ...
