golf cart question29 Apr 2009 18:53 GMT14
This thread is really on topic as I will be using the cart at the
camping ground where we have our trailer.
The question:
I am looking to buy a used gas model.  The cheaper ones seem to be
bears, food, and camping in GSMNP29 Apr 2009 00:46 GMT10
This is a tent camping question, but I think pop-ups may face a
similar challenge.  If not, I apologize.
I spent many summers camping in the GSMNP campgrounds, so I am not new
to it.  However back then we had a hard-sided travel trailer, a big
Subfloor in Sunline T-205328 Apr 2009 01:32 GMT4
I believe the floor under the dinette in my 2001 Sunline T-2053 is
starting to rot out, or has some sort of damage.  When you step on the
linoleum, it feels "spongy" underneath.  I need to investigate
further.

Did I do it right?26 Apr 2009 22:17 GMT3
First, re: my post back a couple weeks or so re: 12v battery in
trailer that may be dead and needed ideas on how to get the hitch
tongue up on to ball hitch, etc, etc, etc.
Well, last Saturday I went to the trailer that is stored near the
Place to sell used rv parts?26 Apr 2009 16:59 GMT2
I just picked up an older 21' Sportsmen camper (I think) and was going to
clean it up and used it for the season, but it is to far gone for that. So I
was thinking of selling off the camper stuff. It has the refrigerator, 4
burner gas stove, heater, water heater and all of the ...
Used RV parts.26 Apr 2009 03:11 GMT6
I am building an outhouse and I should have water available nearby so I am
considering using an RV toilet for summer usage. I would replace it with a
more conventional stool when the weather was bad.  I don't want to buy a new
toilet for an outhouse so I am looking for a junk ...

Best RV Model For Full Timers23 Apr 2009 03:26 GMT27
I am planning on retiring in 2 years.  My retirement (wife & myself)
will be full-timing in a 5th wheel RV.  We do not plan on staying put
in any one place for more than 30 days.  Our planned travels (over the
years) will take us through the 48 states, Canada, & Alaska.
Tax scam19 Apr 2009 18:41 GMT7
I don't know if anyone on the road would use the instant refund places to
get their taxes done.
They just had something on TV about a tax scam.
It involves those places that give you instant tax refunds.
95 Mustang GT- 5 speed- towing with an RV18 Apr 2009 16:18 GMT4
My dad has a 95 stang, 5.0 with the 5 speed and we're at odds regarding the
towability behind his RV. He claims that he needs to disconnect the
driveshaft, because the output shaft will not turn any of the gears to
lubricate it. I towed a 63 Dart from AZ to Sacramento on a dolly ...

Her name is Betty Diamond and she's amazing. We've had a great time
together but
I'm alone now and don't need anything quite so roomy.
I've set up her own webpage and I think you'll agree it's pretty
Refrigerator12 Apr 2009 23:16 GMT16
A question regarding refrigerators:  is it better to leave the refrigerator
ON during the summer while the folding trailer is open but seldom in use - I
travel only in the Spring.  Leaving it on will take some electricity but it
might be better for fridge.  I tried to send the ...
