left rear turn signal28 Apr 2004 04:35 GMT4
Hi - I have a 1988 coupe. The left rear turn signal has burned out. I
have taken the rear storage compartment back off. No access to the
bulb. I have taken the left rear speaker out. No access to the turn
signal. I have tried to come from under the car up but he turn signal
Carb Linkage28 Apr 2004 03:48 GMT11
I put the new carb on today.  What a pain in the a.s.  The new one came
with a fiber gasket about .250 thick, so the front bolts came up short.
First trip to the hardware store.  Get it all together and realize
that linkage isn't going to work right.  The cable clips onto the ...
76 Vette Alignment?28 Apr 2004 00:34 GMT2
I have a friend who just had the alignment on his 76 Vette done.  However,
the garage doing the alignment said they couldn't get the rear wheels within
specs.  They said that the "adjustment" was set as far as it would go, but
it wasn't far enough.  Is there another adjustment that ...
Show off your Corvette27 Apr 2004 23:53 GMT1
I've started an enthusiast car site and a big part of it will be showing off
your motor.
I'd love any proud Corvette owners to show off their cars on the site. You

OT help needed:   94427 Apr 2004 15:35 GMT4
My good friend is going through a divorce and is trying to get rid of his
1984 Porsche 944 quickly before he has to hand it over to the (ex)wife.   He
said I could take it home for $2200 bucks, car has recent timing belt/water
pump service along with new motor mounts.  Its in prime ...
Raped Ape27 Apr 2004 15:26 GMT12
I got the new carb on the car and the linkage sorted out (kind of...I
need a new throttle cable).  After I got it running and let it warm up
for a bit, I took it out for a test drive.  Once I got onto the main
road I punched it.  I was left sitting in the street holding the
1998 C5. "Service Tire pressure system"  ?27 Apr 2004 15:17 GMT20
Since I bought my 98 C5 a few months ago, about half the time the air
pressure gauge on the front left tire either takes far longer to turn on and
show pressure, or most of the time does not show anything and sometimes
shows "PSI XXXXX"
GM Part numbers27 Apr 2004 12:59 GMT4
I have a small problem w/ my '99 C5.  I believe that I have isolated it to
the "Steering wheel position sensor".  I'd like to find the part online if
possible and save a few bucks.  Does anybody know where I can find the part
number for this piece?  Also, does anybody have any ...

Picture shows women with their mouths taped shut in protest. Do they have
any idea how many may die in a short time if they can't talk?
It may be one of the reasons I have loud ...
Corvettes are evil cars26 Apr 2004 21:14 GMT26
Corvettes have been built by the devil to collect fresh souls for
hell.If you have a Corvette and drive it, it will suck out your soul
and you´re on the highway to hell - to be tormented for all eternity.
So if you want to free your soul, get rid off the corvette OR get an
Anyone, hour rate book for C4? I need some backup before complaining to shop.26 Apr 2004 20:21 GMT5
( Sorry for the long winded post, but I'm pissed and need to explain :-)
Hey guys, anyone have a GM hour/rate book for c4 (1994 LT1, ragtop, 6 speed)

The Corvette Checkered flag26 Apr 2004 17:17 GMT2
I have noticed that some of the Corvette crossed flag badges are different.
The checkered flags mostly (I think) have a black square at the top left of
the flag.  I have seen a few that have a white square there.  Are the white
ones just a bad repo version or did Chevy used both ...
2004 CE26 Apr 2004 16:36 GMT17
Almost 100 mile on it and I had to replace both mufflers, Corsa Indy. When I
was putting them on I can't believe how much was changed compared to the 98.
Fuel tanks are all new, can't see any of the connections or tubes. You can't
hear the fuel pump whine when you turn on your turn ...
Now the bad news regarding ebay purchase26 Apr 2004 14:51 GMT1
While I did indeed purchase a Vette off the Ebay, it still needed some work
and that restoration of a Vette is a spendy deal.  So...just plan on having
to spend some money on that "good deal Ebay Vette"......bottom line.....if
it comes from the East it's going to be somewhat rusty ...
Recharging a C5 Battery?26 Apr 2004 02:16 GMT10
My battery got run down in a shop.  Are there any special considerations to
using a charger with all the computers, etc?  Any specific engine parts that
make a good ground?
Thanks.
