2005 C6  Better than C5?30 Jun 2004 20:33 GMT25
I hate to say this but the C6 looks not quite done. Those god awful Dodge
Avenger lights are the worst and the rear looks like the design team ran out
of money before they could finish. I think GM should wait another year and
get it right before sending it to dealers although it may ...
Panty Concerns30 Jun 2004 02:58 GMT15
I've decided that since I'm going to put a bra on my car, I'm going to
protect the rear of my car with a panty.  With the nice slim lines of an
early C3, I can use a thong style on my car.  C4s are still relatively
slim, so they can wear a bikini style panty.  With that big ole ...
Do you recognize this part?29 Jun 2004 16:54 GMT27
I have had my Corvette console and dash torn apart today (trying to undo all
of the crap the previous owner had done which I won't get into because it
makes my angry).  While having the dash apart I found lots of goodies
including some sockets, a screwdriver, an adjustable wrench, ...
FS Mint 86 Corvette Coupe in Toronto with only 39k KM29 Jun 2004 05:09 GMT18
I am selling a 1986 Corvette with 39,900 original KM.  The car is next to
perfect shape.  I doubt you will find a cleaner vette of this vintage.  The
colour is silver/grey with dark grey leather interior.  If maintained this
car will no doubt hold its value or appreciate in value.  ...

muncie m-22 noise - questions28 Jun 2004 22:49 GMT6
I've heard that the Muncie M-22 4 speed has more gear whine in 1, 2,
and 3 than most transmissions.
1 - Is it noticeable when cruising, or accelerating hard, or backing
off, or all the time?
Smog pump28 Jun 2004 03:41 GMT5
One of you guys MUST have a smog pump that you took off and threw in the
parts bin.  All I need is the diverter valve from it.  Come on
guys...I'm getting desperate here.  I can't find one of these friggin
things anywhere.
Front shock advice27 Jun 2004 20:26 GMT5
First question:  does the "bounce test" really work for a C3?  It seems to
me that my car doesn't have enough play in the suspension to get it bouncing
in the first place.  My Chilton's and Hanes manuals both recommend it, but
it seems difficult, at best.
Ping Tedd Riggs27 Jun 2004 17:53 GMT3
Here's your big chance, I have a 3 book set of service manuals for the 1998
Corvette for sale. There is just to many things different on the 2004 for
them to be of allot of use to me. Besides that I now have a set of 2004
being shipped my way.
Wiper blades?27 Jun 2004 12:43 GMT3
I need new blades (not refills) and everything I try is too "thick" at
the mounting point to go under the hood.  Anybody have a source for
stock size blades?
TIA

Changing U-Joints on an 8627 Jun 2004 01:38 GMT1
Just checked the manual to change the u-joints on my 1986 Vette and seems
pretty straight forward.
One seems to be crunching a bit and this will be the first time I have
changed them myself.
Something for "dave"26 Jun 2004 17:12 GMT5
This showed up along with the rest of my daily spam.  Rather than just
throw it away I thought I would do some good with it.  It's pretty
obvious that "dave" is so full of crap that it's backed up to his head,
so here's the solution (read on):
91 L98 Stalling Running Rich26 Jun 2004 14:59 GMT3
Have a '91 Vette L98 6 speed, 80k stock.  Problem is recent within the
last 4 weeks, but is this:  The car runs rich and stalls on occasion.
If I put the AC on the idle will rev up and down a few hundred rpm at
idle and stall occasionally.  After it has stalled, it won't start ...
vacuum hose to advance question26 Jun 2004 07:37 GMT2
i just picked my '75 vette up from the shop to have the elderbrock carb
adjusted(its too rich) and the mechanic had the vacuum hose from the
distributor switched from one that sucks when you give it the gas to a
vacuum inlet on my carb that sucks all the time. when i asked him about
