For the do-it-yourselfer, whats the easiest way to replace a door window motor ? Getting inside the door looks next to impossible once the inside door panel is removed. Any suggestions are appreciated

hokay..more info. System voltage is not dropping to 2V, and there is, indeed, a floating ground. I was grounding to the shifter plate, and voltage is apparently rising to 10V on the plate, giving the 2V reading. The plate, obviously, has lost it's ground.
