I need to take my '95 LT1 coupe in to see why sometimes in reverse, I
get the terrible grinding sound. I would guess it's just 'slipping out
of gear', but the stick seems to not move. Questions-
1) I would like to know what it is if any one of you have had this

I have an 88 L98 that run real poorly or not at all. I checked the ignition,
fuel pressure and injectors and they seem to be fine. I did notice one big
problem, the vacuum at idle is only 10 in of Hg and at part throttle is low
too. Any hints on how to find the vacuum leak or other ...
Leaking transmission02 Jul 2004 15:43 GMT3
My automatic transmission is leaking pretty badly.  I recently changed the
fluid, filter, and gasket, thinking that the gasket was the culprit.
However, it's still leaking.
Upon closer inspection, it appears to be leaking around the shift linkage
Seat cover installation02 Jul 2004 15:23 GMT6
Does anyone have any experience installing leather seat covers from
Eckler's?  I'm looking at part #28172-AL

C5 MAF Sensor Screen removal02 Jul 2004 10:21 GMT13
I am thinking of removing the screen on my 2001 C5 LS1 MAF sensor. I am
installing ram-air and this screen will definitely reduce the flow. I have a
good K&N filter system installed and the unit should not be subject to any
debris.

quite a bit regarding these rims and the difficulties in getting them on

parking it....02 Jul 2004 00:07 GMT9
So in about two months I'll be parking my 1987 coupe for two years.  I
want to know the best way to do this.  Should I put it up on blocks, and
just leave it or should I have a family member take care of it (drive it
monthly, etc.)?  Which would be better for the car?  ...
Bad news for everybody01 Jul 2004 17:58 GMT60
This clown wants to ban radar detectors in the county that I live in.
As far as I'm concerned, that's fascist activity.  The Federal
government says that I'm allowed to RECEIVE any kind of "signal" I want
with the only exception being secure military radio traffic.  If this

I seem to recall a post from quite a while ago that showed a picture of a C5
that had backed too far into a lake while unloading some ski-doos.  I can't
seem to find those pictures (or that post) anywhere.  Does anyone have them?
Thanks in advance,
