Recently I had an alternator problem (flames resulted from this one, in the
middle of BFE California.)  Anyway, when I disconnected the alternator, the
wire that connects the battery to the alternator was being removed and we
pulled a wire from the left bottom half of the engine out ...

Well, looks like I'm in deep now.
Got pulled over this am, for criminal (excessive) speed - 93 in a 40 limit
on a surface street in Phoenix AZ (cited for over 20 over in
business/residential neighbourhood).

   I find it amazing the I ask a reasonable question  (does any one know
how many Lemans Comm.convertibles were made?), but cause a little hell and

I have a '98 Vette. I had it with the Chevy dealer of totally unrelated
repairs. When they gave it back to me the A/C now blows hot air (not just
room temperature) out the center and driver side vents, and it blowing nice
and cold out the passenger vent.  The dealer did several ...

OK I.m usually just a reader,but now I could use some help. Have a 78
with the Aluminum   wheels. One of the rear wheels just will not come
off. Yes I unbolted the lug nuts but the rim is still firmly attached.
Any ideas,suggestions on how to break it loose?

Man that was some explosion that almost burned up Earnhart Jr.. it makes you
really nervous to know the C-5 Vettes are more dangerous than the old Pinto
......my wife already has been down town looking for a trade in..she won't

Saw a recent ad for a 2004 Corvette (brand new coupe, not a demo) on sale
for $34000!!.  I was told it is sitting on the showroom floor and that the
dealership was trying to buildup its C-6 allocation.  Is this the start of
things to come??
