custom luggage for Vettes?31 Aug 2004 22:50 GMT6
Just wondering if anyone makes custom luggage bags for Corvettes.  After
looking at `04 Vettes recently for the first time (coupes and verts), seems
that cargo space is tight.  For coupes, you need to be able to store the
roof top (which might be wet or dirty) in the cargo area, ...

I'll be changing my spark plugs soon. I was just wondering if any of you
used other brands other than the GM brand. Results?
Thanks

C4 -  ceramic pads for street driving?31 Aug 2004 16:14 GMT1
Do these really work to limit the dust build up around the rims?  Reduce noise?
Eckler's has cheap sets of semi-metallics for $25 per axle.  Are these a good deal?
Wheels for 86 vs 96 ZR131 Aug 2004 15:40 GMT12
The wheels on my 86 are 16 inch and tires are 255 50. If I bought the 17
inch ZR1 wheels, what size tires would I need to keep the speedometer
accurate? And will these ZR1 wheels even work on the 86 model without
rubbing the body or frame?
C3 Convertible Cross Country:  Security?31 Aug 2004 13:40 GMT7
Within the next few months I'll begin restoring my '71 ragtop.  Eventually,
I'd like to take it cross country.  However, I've been wondering about
security issues:  have any of you had problems during long cruises?  How do
you keep you valuables secure?
C5 Questions31 Aug 2004 09:10 GMT13
I droppped my C6 spot and purchased a C5 built on 6/21.   I've put the Corsa
Indy Pace Tigersharks on it, so far.   Coupe.
I'd like to increase the horsepower to the C6 numbers, and I am told this
can be done with a Nightwing, or other front air induction change with K&N
2000 C5, 50k miles, 6-spd, transmission noise31 Aug 2004 01:36 GMT2
Hi, Folks. First time vette owner (since Friday). I am in the curious
situation of owning both a 280ZX Turbo and a C5 6-spd Vette. You may
know that the Z has a BW T5 in it, whereas my "blue car" has a T56.
That is to say I am accustomed to some transmission noise. In the Z, I
1st to 4th shift light?  31 Aug 2004 01:30 GMT11
I just read about a "1st to 4th" shift light on the new Corvettes.  It says
that when the light comes on, you must shift from 1st to 4th, then you can
downshift after that if you prefer.  What's the deal with this?  Is there a
way to disable it?  The reason I order a manual ...

In preparation for the restoral of my '71 ragtop. I've been considering
installation of after-market air.  I have a few questions I hope you guys
can answer for me:
1.  I've heard that Hot Rod Air has a good kit.  Are any other
Question about pads and rotors on ebay30 Aug 2004 21:29 GMT5
Reposting as people probably thought this was an add based on original
subject line:
Does anybody have any recommendations or comments to make rotor/pad
deals on ebay?
1999 C5 Targa Top Rattles30 Aug 2004 19:53 GMT2
Any ideas how to adjust the removable hardtop on my C5?  It rattles and
squeaks over the slightest bumps.
Overheating problem30 Aug 2004 16:40 GMT30
I was hoping someone might have an answer for me. I have a 94 coupe with 66k
miles. It runs just fine on the open road, but gets pretty hot while
standing still or in traffic. The water pump was changed recently and the
radiator fluid is pretty clean. What do I do?

Hypertech's Power Programmer III  on 98 C5  LS1 6 Spd. Any words of wisdom?29 Aug 2004 14:14 GMT4
I have done a few small changes on my 98 C5 LS1 6 spd Corvette and am going
to try out what effect the Hypertech Power Programmer III has on the car as
I have had a number of comments this would help out the power/torque curves
a fair amount since the intake and exhaust have been ...
