I'm looking at an 86 convt with 116,000 miles, it definitely needs new
paint, carpet, ragtop, weather-strips, antennae, gear on one headlight, tank
drained and new battery, due to being left sitting for almost a year.
The body itself is in good shape and it has an aero package with ...

got on it.  I have since killfiled the putz in question so as to ...

Power Steering on 69 Corvette12 Aug 2004 17:27 GMT1
I just bought a 69 corvette and it does not have power steering.  Is
it possible to add.  It's a 350 motor that has been "tricked" up a bit
to closer to 400 hp.  I am planning to add headers and side pipes, but
don't think they will interfere with a power steering option.
Love my c4 ride11 Aug 2004 22:32 GMT18
I posted that there were some great deals on new c5's and I was going
to jump.
Turns out you get the discount, or the financing but not both.
So the c5 the way I wanted it was about 40 grand.  Since my car is
Do both Cooling fans operate simultaneously on a C5?11 Aug 2004 22:22 GMT23
Today, I noticed that the car ran hotter than usual.  It was indicating 220
F.  Only one (the right one) of the two radiator fans was operating.  Seems
to me that both should have been working at this temperature.  I would
appreciate some help...

Proper tire pressure for Firestone Indy 500 FireHawk - 74 Vette11 Aug 2004 16:22 GMT22
Just had Firestone Indy 500 put on my 74 Vette  (225 70/15)  Dealer put 35

I can search eBay and it looks like $50 is the ball-park.  Does anyone know
of any other sources for shop manuals that are less expensive?

Any advice appreciated.  The temp gauge reads high in my 64 stingray.

Are there resistance issues that might be resolved by removing the gauge and

My 88 ran great but now it will not crank.
The diagnostic read-out code indicates that the VATS (vehicle anti-theft
