Good Bye folks06 Nov 2004 19:04 GMT1
Sold the Z06 today,  new owner takes possession in a few hours.  That's it
for me in the C5 world for a while.  I just wasn't driving it,  so it seemed
like a waste to own it (2,400 miles in the last 24 months).
Here is wishing all of you great luck with your Corvettes,  and this ...

However, the "builder" had the block decked, destroying all the stamped

2004 Vette Questions03 Nov 2004 15:26 GMT3
I've had my 2004 vette for a couple of months now.  The owner's manual says not
to change the oil until the Oil Life System tells me to or at least once per
year.  I'm at 5,000 miles and it shows 70% oil life remaining.  I'm used to
having my oil changed every 3000-4000 miles.  ...
C4 "computer" problems...corrupt data?03 Nov 2004 01:14 GMT2
My '94 has not been running normally.  When I give it full throttle there is
a brief pause before full throttle is applied.  There is maybe a half second
before the power comes on normally.  No missing, hesitation, stumble,
etc...it just takes longer for full power than it should ...
Updating C4 bumpers to 91-96 style02 Nov 2004 21:30 GMT2
I am hoping someone can provide some insight into updating my 85
C4 to the 91-96 style. I am using all genuine GM parts. The issue
I am having is with mounting the 91-96 style driving lights into
my 85 fron impact absorber bar. Either I am missing a part for the

I am a new corvette owner of a 1976. I have a clicking noise coming from

collectable friendly, I made a note of them and lost it. Could someone
please repost info on insurance companies.

Estimated hours for minor fiberglass work - are you serious?!02 Nov 2004 15:34 GMT25
I just was at a large body shop yesterday to get an estimate to repair
the front tip of my C3. I scraped up about a softball-sized area right
on the point of the nose (a couple of pictures at
