L98 vs LT117 Jan 2005 14:21 GMT2
Hi all. I am looking to buy my first vette. I would like to know if
anyone has driven a 91 and a 92 and could tell me if it is worth the
extra money for the newer engine.
Thanks,
Corvette Quality17 Jan 2005 14:13 GMT7
I love the way the 2005 C6 looks, but am concerned about reliability
and the thing just falling apart. Any feedback from owners? The
corvette.com web site doesn't inspire quality either. I tried to build
one about 6 times before it worked. If they can't even get that to
Selling the lt417 Jan 2005 08:01 GMT9
I am very sad about selling my 96 lt4.  Someone is coming from upstate
and paying 18500 for the car.  19000 miles, pretty much like new.
Anyway, I know I will not  be able to go long without a new(er)
corvette.
Convertible Top17 Jan 2005 00:20 GMT5

Brake light question16 Jan 2005 16:20 GMT6
After driving in  traffic, when I'd get home, once in a while I'd notice my brake lights on after I parked the car in the garage.  At first I thought it was because I had quite a few miles on these brakes and it was about time I replaced them.  I could get them to go off by ...
what years are called "Stingray"?16 Jan 2005 13:56 GMT16
Okay, time for a stupid question: which years of Corvettes
are considered Stingrays?
Thanks in advance.

Run Flat tire question16 Jan 2005 13:56 GMT19
Found a nail in the tread portion on one of my Goodyear Run Flat tires.
Once removed, is this something that can be plugged, without harming the
tire pressure sensor?  Any thing special I need to know about repairing the
tire before I remove the nail?
winterization question15 Jan 2005 21:54 GMT1
Boston area - 85 vette. Due to illness the car has been in garage for 2
months. Just put in a can of dry gas / winterizer - whatever its called.
Would it be better for me to start it up and get that stuff into fuel lines
or not? Can moisture due damage if its in injectors.? I am ...
WOW...that was too close!!!15 Jan 2005 20:07 GMT26
I live in a low area near a creek that normally has 2 feet of water and
this recent weather had me sweating bullets!
Water was surrounding my entire house (looked like a houseboat) and it
got into my garage. There was only about 1" of water on the floor of the
Green Brake Fluid15 Jan 2005 20:06 GMT2
OK...I'm not crazy.  I bought a 1976 Corvette and the brake fluid is green.
It is the color of antifreeze.  I have looked around and find a fluid
called LHM that is green and is not compatible with DOT fluid.  I bought
the car in a rural area and I don't think they would have had ...

Parking brake on C513 Jan 2005 16:59 GMT3
Hello, I have a 99 C5 with a piss poor parking brake, ( IF it catches at all
! ).This has always been the case, I've had the car since new. Now my extended
GM warrenty is expiring in a few months. Does anybody know if GM is required to
fix this under the extended warrenty?  If the ...
Changing Brake Booster13 Jan 2005 00:39 GMT2
Any words of wisdom or advise?  While I have the booster out, I plan to
change the plugs and wires.  If anyone has ever changed out their booster on
their C4, did they find an easy way to get to the nut on the left side of
the bracket under the dash.  It looks like the easiest ...
