Rear speakers in my C312 Feb 2005 05:07 GMT2
I would like to install 6"x9" speakers in the rear.  Any premade boxes, not
too big.  I would like to still store my T-Tops back there.

Insurance?10 Feb 2005 20:48 GMT8
Recently purchased an '88 that will be driven ~1-2K miles a year.  Need an
insurance policy and would like y'alls input on which companies offer parade
or collector type insurance. Had such a policy a few years ago on a old
muscle car but for the life of me cannot recall the ...
C1 or C2 Buying10 Feb 2005 05:16 GMT10
Dood day folks,
I've been bitten by the corvette bug and after owning one for
almost a year (1977 Ontario orange coupe), doing restorations and getting up
to show room condition, I want to buy another one.
94 Electrical Problems10 Feb 2005 04:27 GMT1
Any ideas on this problem?  The radio gets poor reception and the speakers are
popping.  Then the radio goes out and hissing and snapping come from the
passenger side dash.  I disconnected a battery cable and the commotion stopped.
I have not re-connected for fear of causing any ...

C5 Heat "issue"09 Feb 2005 02:18 GMT7
Happy new owner of a used 2000 magnetic red convertible. This replaced
our 94 competition yellow coupe.  When I bought the car it had a
problem with the heater. Thought maybe the group could help out, but
found nothing on google so far. Anyway, when in heat mode (regardless

93 Help...PKE Stopped Working08 Feb 2005 14:57 GMT10
It warmed up earlier this week so I washed my Vette. I didn't notice it for
a couple of days, then it hit me, no honk when I walk away from the car.
The button on the key fob works, the button in the car works, just not the
automatic lock when I move away from the car.
Change stock radio to Bose08 Feb 2005 02:40 GMT9
I have a 1995 with the stock cassette radio and stock speakers, before I go
and rip it out and go with an aftermarket CD player I was wondering what all
would be involved with changing everything over to a stock Bose system
instead.  I'm guessing I'd need the Bose in dash CD head ...

1989 Corvette Battery Problem06 Feb 2005 20:43 GMT4
I have an '89 Corvette that's in excellent condition, and I'm the original
owner.  However, the battery keeps dying and eventually I have to replace
the battery about every 18 months.  The alternator has been replaced so
that's not the problem.  The car has an aftermarket alarm, but ...
Fule Pressure 92 Corvette?06 Feb 2005 20:29 GMT5
Checking out the factory manual is interesting at best.  In section C
Chart A it shows to be 43 PSI.  Is this correct?
'75 fuel gauge 06 Feb 2005 20:08 GMT1
Last spring I had to have the fuel tank removed and the rubber feed/return
lines replaced on my '75 model.  The shop told me the tank was in excellent
shape with hardly a spot of rust anywhere.  After the job I noticed that
when the tank is full the fuel gauge needle reads way past ...
Travel Channe Corvette vs Mustang06 Feb 2005 17:45 GMT3
Watched the progam as above--the quiz near the end asked about the
engine on the original 1953 Corvette---the winning answer was V6--no
kidding.
