I just wanted to let everyone here know, that the car that created so
much discussion about asking too much or trying to get money for a "pile
of rusted bolts" or something like that,  has sold.  it was posted on Ebay
with an opening bid of $4500.00 and a Buy It Now for $5850.00. ...

I cannot quite remember what I'm supposed to be looking for.  When the brake
is on, the tail lamp works, but if I turn on the headlights, the tail lamp
goes dark.  Same thing happens when I hit the blinker.  This only happens to
one light.  The other one functions normally.

Collector/Classic plates/tags are causing me a bit of a problem for my
recently aquired '59. Thankfully the '78 has none of these problems.
Curious if others have had these problems and what you did about it or
what happened -

I need to get the door panel off so I can replace the door switch.  I have
the door panel all loose, but the center molding plastic is a bitch.  It has
to come out first.  I took out the center screw. I took the light bezel out,
got that screw loose behind it, and the whole molding ...

I know nothing about motors. A guy that owes me $200.00 has offered in
payment three 327 heads. He tells me that they are 327 fueler heads with
casting numbers of 291 and are 325 horsepower with 64cc combustion
chambers. They have been hot tanked and have surface rust on them.

I have a question about mounting the front bumper cover (fiberglass)
When I mount it to the nose of my 79, the bumper seems to creep up on the
front, in the way that it is sitting to high in comparison to the hood
surround panel.

I need some opinions here on a tough decision I'm facing. I'm planning
to buy a corvette and I narrowed down my choice to these two:

I  understand that there is a rebuild kit available for the headlight
accuator.
Would like to know the degree of difficulty or tips as I am having a bit of
a challenge finding new ones for a late 71 coupe....

I've got a pair of brand new ACDelco speakers for my C3. However these are modern replacement speakers so they have a
different style of connector altogether. I can rig something up no problem there.
Problem is the connector is only marked "A B" - what is POSITIVE and NEGATIVE for ...

I have a problem with the courtesy light on my 1980.
It is staying on after the timmed delay should turn it off.
When the delay time is over there is still about half power power going to
the bulbs .

I am a huge fan of the C4 Corvettes, having owned four of them.  My current
C4, a '94 has 119,000 miles on it. It runs perfect. Has new Opti and water
pump. New plugs and wires, new tires, new Bilsteins. Uses NO oil, runs
strong. Looks great - side bolsters are a bit worn.

Is there a table on the web that shows how many units of Corvette models
are fabricated every year? Or has anyone numbers? I read that only
around 25,000 units of Corvette are built per year. That seems to me a
very small number. Even very expensive Porsche's are sold in much higher

My 93 over heats, but when I turn on the A/C it stays cool.  Could it
be a relay or is my fan not working right?

My background light or lights in the radio went out a while back in my
C4/1995.  How much of a nightmare is it to replace the lights in there.

Has anyone mounted the front license bracket to a new 2005 C6. Cheesiest
rig-up I have ever seen for a car costing $50K+!! I would like to know if
