Almost to hot to drive the Corvette31 Aug 2005 17:03 GMT4
For the first time since I've owned the '72 it got an engine temperature of
210, almost to hot to drive it today, just hit 90. Great weather for tooling
around but bad for the crops and that means higher prices for the corn to go
along with the higher gas prices. On top of that, ...

1988 A/C Blower Question31 Aug 2005 04:10 GMT3
New to me 1988.
The A/C system is the old GM style w/ the two slides and a 4 position fan
speed switch.
There does not seem to be much air flow even on Max and high fan.

C3 body (and frame) on a C5 drivetrain?29 Aug 2005 18:12 GMT14
Do you know of anybody that has modified a C3 frame to fit a full C5
drivetrain?  I figure I have two options, chop 4.5 inches out of the
torque tube on the C5 or put the frame on as-is and cut the wheel wells
on the C3 body to extend them.  Oh, the third option is to skip it
63-67 hood value?29 Aug 2005 14:06 GMT2
I am having the original hood for my roadster repaired (after 20+yrs.) and
am considering either selling the replacement hood or storing it. The hood
is painted and has been stored in a garage under a car cover. It has no
chips or flaws. Any ideas about how to determine the value ...

posting 2005082727 Aug 2005 19:44 GMT2
"Amanda," I said, motioning to the chair in front of my desk. "Please sit do
wn." She did. I regarded her the same way Carl regarded me earlier today. It
's fair; the distance, careerwise, was not dissimilar.
"You're kidding," I said.
C5 Mufflers (Flowmasters)27 Aug 2005 15:17 GMT1
I think I blew out one of the baffles in one of my mufflers.  Well..I didn't
blow it out..if I did, I wouldn't be posting on here looking for help.  The
muffler sounds like there is something metal rolling banging around in it.
I tried putting a strong magnet on the bottom, but ...
C6 question26 Aug 2005 06:03 GMT3
Can anyone tell me why the "auto" setting on the radio only gives me 2
selections...."on and "off" when the owner's manual indicates each push of
the button would give you "min", "med" and "max".
Is there an upgrade or is this not the auto pilot version.
