my business partner just got a 2002 Z06 as a retainer fee,
car is great, and is fast as hell.
Only problem is that the 5th gear synchro is apparently messed up, you
have to literally slam it into gear to get 5th.  Local transmission

This has thrown the speedometer off.  When the speedometer says 74, the
car is actually going about 64.  I think the fix is to replace the

Looks like I have a bit of a problem with my diff.  I get a chuc-chuc-chuc
on load and much more on coast, non on float. New Wheel bearings, six new
u-joints, everything solid, so process of elimination indicates maybe a
chipped/cracked/pulled tooth on spider or ring or pinion. ...

Suggestions for best "Street legal mufflers" hot but not to hot as to
attract police attention. That fits in the standard location. A good deep
throatily sound.The police in my small Alabama town love to write you up for
improper exhaust system.
