price of fuel06 Sep 2005 18:49 GMT17
gas here, south of Atlanta Georgia has went up by about 50 cent /gal
overnight at places. I do not worry about much, but this could get
real ugly. it will be months before the refineries in the gulf are
back to full production levels.
Spun Bearing?06 Sep 2005 17:42 GMT1
A knock appeared in my 350/350HP 69 this morning when I first cranked it.
No problem the day before when I parked it.  It started within 5 seconds
when I first cranked it.  My first thought is a bearing.  Anyone else ever
experienced this?  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

High Gas Prices: Will it affect your Corvette driving ???03 Sep 2005 22:35 GMT17
Just heard on the tv that the national average is $2.62 per gallon . If
the prices go alot higher...say...over $3.25 , will it cause you to cut
down driving your vette ? Since i use mine for weekends and car shows
(never exceeding 2500 miles per year), it will not affect my usage
Tire Pressure Monitor03 Sep 2005 22:11 GMT56
I have a 2004 Cadillac CTS-V (w/ Corvette Z06 LS-6 engine). Recently, I had
my tires rotated, and now the display for the tire pressure is wrong. It
reports the pressure for the back tires as the front tires. The Cadillac
dealer wants $15 to "recalibate" the system, but I'd like ...
Was that a Z06?03 Sep 2005 17:37 GMT5
Just to stir things a little, some of us have seen the new Z06 and there are

Hi y'all...
My 92's brakes did something very odd and scary a few days ago.
And this is not Vette-related, strictly speaking.
It was HOT out, about 102ºF and I drove around doing basic errands. Engine
