| Wheel hub Extensions on a 1980 C3 | 31 Dec 2005 07:38 GMT | 15 |
Was wondering, would a 1-inch front and rear wheel hub extension be advisable for a c3 -1980 roadster ? The result would be the tires jutting out an inch more on either side in the rear giving the car a meaner look and (I assume) improving handling.

| Power antenna | 31 Dec 2005 01:06 GMT | 3 |
I have a 92 convertible, not sure if that matters, that I need to change the antenna mast on. The antenna works, partly, it just does not run the full cycle. The question is, how do you get to the antenna out to swap the mast out ? ant tip would be great.

| - Does a 2000 C5 Have Brake Pad Sensors? | 30 Dec 2005 22:42 GMT | 4 |
Could somebody please tell me if the 2000 C5 Corvette has brake pad wear sensors? If not, why would such a simple and valuable sensor not be included? Thanks, Matt

| Coolant Leak | 30 Dec 2005 22:03 GMT | 9 |
I have a small coolant leak somewhere on the front area of the engine. It seems to collect on the top of the front spring straight down from the alternator. I have looked every where. I recently added a ported polished throttle body and ran a coolant bypass. I noticed the leak

| ABS unit - 1988 corvette | 30 Dec 2005 17:43 GMT | 3 |
my mechanic tells me that the ABS unit on my 88 is probably shot -- left front wheel will lock up on hitting the brakes -- we've already fried one set of calipers trying to figure this out. Initial attempts at finding this unit have not been successful --

| C5 Peeling Coating on Glass Roof | 30 Dec 2005 16:27 GMT | 2 |
I have found a partial solution for the classic problems with the transparent glass roof for the C5. These often have their hard, outer coating peel off. The damage is always a stripe on the passenger side running front to back.

| Jacking a C5 | 28 Dec 2005 22:08 GMT | 4 |
Someone out there must have a solution to this problem!! I have a 2000 convertible, new to me this year it only has 20000 km's on it and I like to do most of the work myself. Hence the fall oil change. My floor jack would not go under the car far enough to reach the jacking

| Help dead battery and can not get into 2000 Vet | 27 Dec 2005 16:42 GMT | 12 |
A friend of mine just bought a 2000 Vet.(6 speed standard) and he thinks he may have left a light on in the car or something like that and the battery went dead. He has only had the car for a week and now cannot get into it as it seems like the key lock on the door is not working ...

| Serpenting Belt Noise | 26 Dec 2005 04:27 GMT | 12 |
My '98 C-5 just had the A/C compressor replaced. Now the belt squeaks. They replaced the tensioner a few months ago and the sqeaking stopped but has returned since the compressor was replaced. The dealer said it needs a new belt, (not that it's ready to break) just to stop the noise ...

| Is there a market for used Goodyear Runflats? | 25 Dec 2005 23:09 GMT | 2 |
I have the Goodyear runflats on the rear of my 2000 Corvette--and although they only have about 13,000 miles on them, the tread is sufficiently worn that snow traction is a problem. I'm not even close to the treadwear indicators, and if this was March, I would just plan
