POROUS ENGINE BLOCK: 2000 5.7 Liter28 Jan 2006 23:50 GMT9

69 Vette Engine Noise28 Jan 2006 20:52 GMT15
My 350/350 engine was rebuilt about 25,000 miles ago. The car runs well
without any loss of power. However, there is a slight tapping noise
coming from the engine. I've been told by several mechanics that the
noise is probably not serious. I've also been told by one or two people
GM technical info28 Jan 2006 16:51 GMT1
Maybe this is old news for Corvette lovers, but I just stumbled on an
interesting GM technical website.  There's a variety of info on all sorts of
GM makes and models.  The info on repairing collision damage on a Z06 frame
is worth a look.
Tire input sought27 Jan 2006 04:04 GMT7

the thing - he says OEM - are real howlers.
He's torn about staying with runflats.

'90 auto won't start26 Jan 2006 20:44 GMT3
My buddys '90 auto suddenly won't start. The battery tested fine. When you
try to start it, there is a clicking noise under the dash, but the starter
doesn't make a sound.
I've considered these options, and he is verifying them tomorrow:

Auto Show Discounts for Vette Parts26 Jan 2006 16:10 GMT9
I have been told that it would be a good idea to attend an upcoming
auto show where vendors selling Vette parts will likely have dash pads
for sale. How much of a discount from, say, the Ecklers price, as I'm
likely to see?
