I took my 71 out for a spin and gas this morning, and noticed the amp.
meter was over charging.  When I disconnected the neg. terminal on the
battery I noticed it was pretty warm.  When I felt the alternator it was

327 Long block casting #3782870, Code FOIO4HA, casting date of L304 was
running when removed from car in 1968. Heads casting #3782461, cast dates
E84, they have been removed.  Have checked and rechecked the above numbers

I have a 2003 c5 whose screw came off the wiper motor.  I found the screw
and have reseated the arm to the motor and screwed it back tight.
Unfortunately something is wrong.  The wipers do work now but they will stop
in the middle of the windsheild or they will just start without

Background...(1982 Vette) driving home the other evening and lights started
getting dim, barely made it home.  Charged battery and tested Alt.  Not
charging. Battery took charge.  Removed Alt and took to Autozone, tested
