Bay area corvette mechanic recommendation?11 Mar 2006 07:41 GMT7
I live in Los Gatos, have a 1980 corvette and would like to find a
really good mechanic who knows a lot about this particular model and can
help me maintain and improve it. Any recommendations would be greatly
appreciated.

I know all about owning and driving corvettes.  I take my 96 out
whenever I can.  Also looking at a 99.
Anyway, I have an  opportunity to pick up a 90 ZR1 in the mid 30's.  I
do not know much about the zr1's.  I have a 96 lt4 and have read that

I was looking for the price guides on classic Corvettes and having some
problems finding them.  NADA and Edmunds both have theirs, but I'm not
finding others.

I have a friend that has a 2003 vette and is having trouble with trying to
get the noise problem taken care of. Can anyone help us here? Or has anyone

If you plan to convert your optispark.. I have the coil setup ..these coils
+ module sell for several hundred dollars....for use with the DELTEQ
system..save $$$$..See my ebay item # 8045699454..All four Coils are NEW
never fired up ..module is perfect. Module is from a Cadillac ...

the front of the trans. that the throw-out  bearing rides on. Zip, Corv.
Central, Ecker, etc. on carry parts for the Muncie M22 that they put in the

My center armrest storage compartment and armrest need to be restored.
The problem is that the storage compartment HAD plastic support tabs
that the armrest hinge bolted onto but the plastic tabs are not broken.
I have not seen a center storage compartment that is reproduced and it
