Looking for 74 Big Block...Clean...Under $7500

A few years ago I purchased Delorean that was a stolen/insurance
recovery...after I restored it I had to have in inspected by the State of
New York..this was NOT a safety inspection ..it was an inspection to verify
the VIN numbers on the car.to obtain a new title...They took it ...

I have a 66 coupe and am trying to verify authenticity.  The VIN
stamped on the block pad and the transmission match the VIN on the
plate under the glove box.  I have read that the VIN is also stamped on
the frame on the driver's side in the rear behind the rear wheel

I have a small block Chevy in my pick-up with the following casting
numbers, can anyone help identify it's origin? Block Casting #3731548,
Engine Date Stamp T312F, Head Casting #3731554. Could it have come from
an early Corvette? It does have an early set of Corvette valve covers
