Where can I buy stainless steel bleeder screws ?20 Sep 2006 15:40 GMT13
Where can I buy stainless steel bleeder screws ?
I have tried all the usual places like Napa, AutoZone, PepBoys etc,
but no joy.
I have seen this website, but this is massively overpriced:
'75 Vacuum Headlights20 Sep 2006 13:51 GMT2
My headlights no longer go up and down with the light switch.  They will go
up and down however with the little switch under the steering column.  I
have replaced all vacuum lines for the headlight system forward of the
firewall.  By blocking the right actuator and relay, the left ...
'96 acrylic top splitting19 Sep 2006 00:34 GMT1
I have a 96 vette with a acrylic top that has split in the middle twice in
the last year. I have been told that it is a body flexing problem, cheap
replacement top, incorrect installation....ect.  any thoughts on this would
be appreciated as I am tired of replacing them.
2002 Passat W8 Six Speed Faster than 2002 C5 Corvette and C5 ZO6?18 Sep 2006 11:13 GMT5
Is this really true? I've heard that the 2002 Passat W8 has a top speed
of 130 in the US, and 155.3 in Europe, but once you remove the
governor, even with the standard 275 horsepower engine, it has a top
speed of 174 MPH, and with an SKN tuning chip program, it has a top
Water on the garage floor18 Sep 2006 02:22 GMT4
I just took the '93 on about a 40-mile run on various types of roads, from
county roads to an interstate.  Drove it reasonably hard at times, easy at
others.  After getting home, I get a lot of water dripping onto the garage
floor.  It's dripping from under the passenger door ...
Ping Dad17 Sep 2006 21:41 GMT1
Can you send me that info again on how to adjust those bolts so that it
adjusts the window angle so the C5 doesn't leak when you do those high power
washes at the car wash?    I know I saved those instructions and now I can't
friggin find them anywhere.
Fiberglass repair17 Sep 2006 21:39 GMT2
Repairing a pair of trailer fenders and it's going well, so far. Any web
pages on tip for doing this? And, how the hell do you stop the itch? When I
was shopping for the fiberglass I noticed some cut fibers and some stuff
that looks like white dust. When do you use them? Made a ...
Does anyone take up two parking spaces at a parking lot ?17 Sep 2006 15:13 GMT79
Just wondering if anyone with their Vette takes up two parking spaces in
a parking lot * PROVIDING they park quite a distance from  the place
they are going into , and,  if the parking lot is fairly empty ? (
*please note the qualification).
C4 Hatch release problem17 Sep 2006 13:06 GMT3
Having recurring problems with the hatch release on our '94. Mechanic says
that it is simply "sticking", lubes it and it works for about a day. Has
anyone had a similar problem and found a solution. This is our third C4 and
the only one that has had this issue. Thanks.
96 LT1 Starter Replacement15 Sep 2006 01:15 GMT2
I need to replace the starter on my 96.  I have a Haynes manual for all the
good that does. Is it difficult  to change or should I just pay the $65 or
so labor and have it done?

Need advice - looking to buy a used vette15 Sep 2006 00:15 GMT6
I'm looking at coming down to the LA area from Canada to purchase a
2003 or 2004 Corvette and wanted some advice on purchasing.  I'm
thinking buying privately, rather than a dealer, is the cheaper way to
go.
Firestone Firehawk tires - what is your experience13 Sep 2006 23:21 GMT8
I have a 1996 C4 with a Callaway engine. I drive the car in a
"spirited"manner but I don't beat on it. I had to replace my Goodyear GS-C
OEM tires at 25,000 miles and I chose Firestone Firehawk tires - P285/40ZR17
on the rear and P255/45ZR17 on the front. After just 11,000 miles ...
wtb c3 frame and pan13 Sep 2006 02:08 GMT14
Howdy,
Friend of mine Ric that frequents this group suggested I post here to see
if anyone has what I'm looking for.
I'm looking for a replacement frame that would fit a 1976. Ideally one

Would the Delco Reactec gas shocks or the Monroe Matic
Plus considered to be "soft" shocks?
